A: You have to wire it to the main switch you use to turn your gear on. This way when you turn on whatever master switch you are using to turn everything on the sign lights up. When you finish working and shut down the light will go out. Normally in studios they used to be wired to the tape machine transport so once you pressed play the sign would go on.

A: Yes it can be mounted like an exit sign, but not to the actual ceiling. It mounts on the wall close to where the ceiling meets with the wall.

A: You will need a 24v Remote Transformer. We are in Australia and use 240v as standard. You should speak to an electrician regarding wiring.

A: This is rectangular in shape. Three of the sides are lit, and the fourth side would be mounted to a wall.

Some lights require low voltages (such as 24VDC) and others require 110VAC. Some have built in drivers, but most do not.

A: We had to do some rewiring. It came with an LED strip and the voltage was too high for the strip. Had to get a regular light bulb. It wasn't too difficult and looks great, but wasn't plug and play.
