The black Benchmark AHB2 High-Resolution Power Amplifierfrom Benchmark AHB2 High-Resolution Power Amplifieris designed to accurately reproduce high resolution audio. The dynamic range approaches 130 dB, and the frequency response extends below 0.1 Hz and beyond 200 kHz. When reproducing high-resolution 24-bit PCM and 1-bit DSD digital audio formats, this amplifier allows you to hear nuances and dynamics which get lost when using amplifiers with lower dynamic ranges.

The AHB2 has bi-polar class-AB output stage that delivers high output current and low noise. The THX patented feed-forward error correction provides accurate cancellation of zero-crossing errors. In addition, the AHB2 uses a resonant switching power supply with a fast control loop so mechanical hum is eliminated while magnetic field strength is reduced.

Q: 1. What kind of resolution I need to adjust in my computer? Please let me know

A: You will want to set your computer to the maximum resolution of the display, monitor, TV, or projector you are using. Today, the most common resolution is 1,920 1,080 but it could be any number of other resolutions, depending on the particular monitor.

Q: 2. is this a brand new?

A: Yes

Q: 3. What is the connection in the middle of the cable for?

A: The manufacturer, Kanex, refers to it as a signal booster. It has a numbered dial which can be adjusted. I tested it when I connected a DVR with a TV. It did make subtle differences to the image. This cable worked so well, I bought a 50' one to connect an Apple TV to a video projector. That dial made a huge differences between those devices.

Q: 4. Odd question. Are these connectors tight? I recently bought some highly reviewed NTW cable and the connectors are super loose

A: No problems on the one we received. Tight connectors well made cable.

Q: 5. I bought the 75', it does not have the signal booster, is that only with the 100'?

A: The 75' and the 100' cable sets both offer the embedded signal booster/amplifier.

Q: 6. Will this be iPhone compatible?

A: We would recommend the Fostex HP-P1 for use with iPhone.

Q: 7. Does the cable come coiled over/under?

A: This cable is very fragile. I'm on my 3rd one & won't be buying anymore. Bette to use cat6 ethernet cable & a converter for hdmi.

Q: 8. Is the audio as good as the video?

A: Can't say, never used in an application where I needed embedded Audio

Q: 9. what is the directional switch controlling?

A: the switch controls power amplitude, if the signal is coming in too strong you can back it off a little to prevent glitches. The directional portion is simply how the unit works. As long as you plug it in the correct way I've been very pleased with it.

Q: 10. is this comprehensive cda-vga104hd compatible wit Mac? I got the thunderbolt to vga adapter, but want to add another vga monitor... so would I be able to add this cda-vga10 to my vga to thunderbolt adapter ???

[15.85 lb] The Benchmark AHB2 is the cleanest sounding amp I have owned across 35 years including amplifiers that cost 5X the AHB2. It only provides perfectly clean volume and nothing else. At this power output there is nothing that compares. B&H provided great service getting it to me safely. 5

[20 kΩ] I replaced from pioneer d amp by this AHB2. Both product is enough great for me. But AHB2 must be quite accurate amplifier. Uncolored clear sound/amplified , that's is my comment. 5
