A: The CBT-MF cable tester is designed to test XLR, 1/4 , RCA, Speakon, RJ45, RJ11, MIDI and BNC terminated cable. RG-59 coax cable is generally terminated by BNC connectors and continuity in these cables can be tested with this unit.
