[Yes] The flex plus high bright model we got has side inputs in the monitor so attaching the HDMI and SDI cables was easy, not sure how anyone would have issues with this.
Love the folding hood and removable back sled. We can swap it from a regular teleprompter to a freestanding teleprompter.
For the price it's well worth it, the only complaint I have is the software is a bit dated, but at least the software as included for free.

[Yes] I wanted recommend this company and their products, to anyone in the market for a reliable prompting system. My company owns three Prompter People systems, a Q-Pro, a Flex Plus, and a set of presidential paddles. Our Q-Pro has been in service since 2007 and we are still using the original monitor. We have never unboxed the backup. The 17 Q-Pro has been all over the world. It is super simple to setup, and can be run in the field from a portable battery pack, all day. Our clients are very demanding and we don't have time to deal with temperamental equipment or software, which is why I recommend this company and their products so highly.
The reason I am leaving this review, is that I recently ordered a Flip-Q software dongle to replace one that came apart after 15 years of use. (Ironically, the software still worked, the USB drive just plugged in without its external case.) They immediately sent me a downloadable software license to use while the dongle was in transit and we never had an issue.
Everything is well made. We have NEVER had an issue or failure with electronics, or component parts. I rarely leave reviews, but when a company goes above and beyond from a service standpoint, and has a great product (multiple great products), I want to make sure other know about it.

[Glass] I'm using this teleprompter in my small home studio. This is the only teleprompter I've ever used so I might be speaking out of ignorance but I can tell you it's awesome. Talk about putting the fun back into long winded spiels. The set-up was about 15 minutes from being in the box to using it. I shoot with an EX1R and the included 'universal sizing' bracket fit great. The iPad app is very intuitive and very reasonably priced. No complaints. I would certainly recommend this product.

[Aluminum] This is a great teleprompter for the price, honestly you wont find a better option in this price range, also the support that prompter people gives is great. They helped me setup the prompter, and the software. 

I read an earlier review that mentioned flip-q lite, but was happy to learn that they have not been sending out flip-q lite for a long time, and now the full version of flip-q is provided for free with the prompter. The software is easy to use, and the fact that monitor automatically flips the image makes it even easier to do things like power points or interrotron setups with this prompter. 

All-in-all Im very happy with my purchase.

[Square] The Flex iPad Teleprompter rocks! It shipped very cleanly, no problems, very well protected and boxed. The teleprompter is made of high quality machined parts. Very balanced on the Tripod. Easy to put together, I did not need instructions. The latest iPad fits nicely on the tray. All-in-all, very satisfied with the product and B&H's great service.

[Yes] This prompter was easy to set up and use with my Panasonic HVX-200 and Ipad 2. All I needed was a flathead screwdriver to adjust the mounting plates and balance the rig on my tripod. I used it 2 days in a row. I figure that this prompter minus the ipad paid for itself in 2 days. I use to rent a prompter with an operator for $400-$550 a day. The next step for me is to buy a Thermodyne or Pelican case to store the prompter. It is well worth the money.
