This second-generation DA8P card features a high-performance ESS ES9028PRO DA converter chip that delivers impressive specs with typical Dynamic Range of 127 dB A-weighted and THD+N in excess of -116 dB. The card also incorporates new refinements by adding local Low Phase Noise Oscillator circuitry to further improve the absolute transparency and stereo image of your analog signal, making it essentially void of both jitter and wander.

This DA8P Premium variant works at sampling rates up to 192 kHz as well as high-resolution DXD/384 kHz and DSD64, DSD128, and DSD256, ensuring that you play back every sound with the greatest accuracy.

Q: 10. Can I use this with a laptop headphones jack?

A: Yes, the Voice Technologies VT610TC125 Earphone with Coiled Tube could be used with a 3.5mm headphone jack output on a device such as a laptop. Because the connection on the VT610TC125 is Mono/TS and laptop headphone outputs are usually Stereo/TRS, the earphone may only output one side of the signal, or may sum the headphone output to mono.

[24-Bit] using for video editing, ProRes 4K 422 without hiccups! It is significantly faster that anything I have. It is well made, metal case, high quality. I wish it had an on/off button as I have to unplug it to switch off. Overall, great product.

[24-Bit] Adding this card to Ashly Digimix24 will release the full power of the mixer, allowing you to use all input/output channels in your PC/DAW/iPad. It works flawlessly, and my only minor complaint might be that the latency is not as low as e.g. my RME UCX, but still in the very close to it and in the unnoticeable side of things (about 5-6mS full duplex). This also has to do with the sample rate used (48KHz), while UCX can go up to 192KHz, which reduces latency further. All things considered, I suggest Ashly USB-32 without a second thought! Service of B&H was also awesome, arriving to the other end of the world (New Zealand) in very short time and without issues!

[24-Bit] This dock is outstanding! It unfortunately has received poor reviews, though, because of a problem that is very easy to resolve. On the back of the dock, there is a plastic insert that surrounds two Thunderbolt 3 ports (including the port that connects to your computer). This insert keeps the cable from securely fastening, making the computer connection quite unstable. However, this plastic piece is easy to remove, and with it off, the cable connection is solid. Since removing this piece, I have not experienced any connection drops.

I ordered the 2 Terabyte SSD version, and its read and write speeds are consistent with the advertised specs. It writes at close to 1,100Mb/sec and reads at over 1,300Mb/sec.

[24-Bit] Can't understand why users and some reviewers give this fantastic little dac such low scores. Just because the software is not so good? For me it is all about the sound and here this little unassuming USB DAC excels like no other I have heard. Upmix everything to DSD 1x or 2x and use the ASIO driver via JRiver and you have perfect (and I mean PERFECT) sound. Just add decent components downstream to appreciate what this baby has to offer. I cannot recommend this product any higher - very well done Korg, and thank you. BTW, the little sibling namely the DS-DAC-100m is just as capable sound wise. I have both and use the 100 in my main system and the 100m in my office. The HP output is pretty good also for most cans.

[24-Bit] Excellent craftsmanship and performance. The SD card slot connection in all my external docks from various name brands are finicky. I think its an OS or computer hardware issue, this Glyph models seems less finicky. It does get quite warm.
