Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this be used to feed a line-level output from a soundboard into a mic-level input camera socket where the source signal is 30 or 40db more than what the camera needs? I am not sure which side is male vs. female. Thanks.

A: Yes. I use it to take line level from a soundboard into a mic level audio recorder. It works perfectly.

Q: 2. Is this cable compatible with the 6D? I don't see it listed. Thanks!

A: Hi John. The LN2MIC-ZMH6-MON will work with the 6D as well, you should have no problems. Thanks!

Q: 3. Is the 3.5mm TRS or TRRS?

A: The Insta360 3.5mm Mic Adapter with Charging Input for ONE X2 is for TRS. It is not listed for TRRS.

Q: 4. Need to pad a piano mic before the mixer for better low volume control - does it matter where I put the attenuator in the line or does it need to be right after the piano mic???

A: Best results will be closest to the start of the signal chain(microphone).

Q: 5. It seems if you feed a STEREO wireless mic system like Rode Wireless Go II & Saramonic Blink 500 Pro they only one mic channel gets recorded. Is it true the Insta360 onex 2 with mix adapter can not record stereo? (Zork & Sweetie: professional poets & bed Vloggers )

A: The Insta360 3.5mm Mic Adapter with Charging Input for ONE X2 provides a mono audio line. Connecting a stereo microphone will not alter the Mono line provided by this audio, but further alterations can be made when editing in post production.

Q: 6. Can I use this cable with Tascam recorder?

A: That cable would not provide the correct attenuation for the Tascam recorder. The correct cable to use is the LN2MIC-TAS-MON.

Q: 7. Regardless of possible stitch-line interference can a DJI wireless mic receiver be connected to the adapter. If the answer no, why not.

A: Yes the receiver from the DJI Mic Wireless Microphone Kit could, in theory, connect to the microphone input on the Insta360 3.5mm Mic Adapter with Charging Input for ONE X2 via 3.5mm cable.

Q: 8. Does this provide plug-in power to microphones?

A: We can find no support that the Insta360 3.5mm Mic Adapter with Charging Input for ONE X2 provides plug in power for a microphone.

Q: 9. Will this adapter also work in the Insta 360 One R Model, I am trying to get a Saramonic SR-XM1 with TRS pole to work in my Insta 360 One r ?

A: Unfortunately no. The Insta360 3.5mm Mic Adapter with Charging Input for ONE X2 will only work as a mic adapter for the ONE X2.

Q: 10. Would this work with Mix Pro 3 to Z Cam e2s6, if not would you have another solution? Thanks!

A: Yes, the Sescom LN2MIC-ZMH6-MON 3.5mm Line to Mic DSLR Audio Cable for Zoom H6 with Headphone Monitoring Jack could work to connect the 3.5mm stereo output of the Sound Devices MixPre-3 II 3-Channel / 5-Track Multitrack 32-Bit Field Recorder to the 3.5mm stereo input of the Z CAM E2-S6 Super 35 6K Cinema Camera.

[1x DB25 Male] I have had this 2 input Dante Unit AVIO for about 6 months now.  I have only used it in the studio and it has been a nice functional piece adding Dante to a stereo channel rack mic preamp unit reliably and without any issues.  I can say I originally tried a cheap POE injector from online and it didnt work. but works just fine with my Cisco SG300 router with POE.  I do wish they made 4 channel versions as well or even an 8 on the input end, to reduce the need for lots of router channels.  Otherwise, great sounding and so far rock solid.

[1.565 lb] I use this in my banquet hall that seats 400 and splits into five different section. What is great about these rack mixers is the ease of use and installation. Also the 1/4 and XlR input option is great for versatility. SO far very happy with all six of the mixers i bought.

[8] Most important - Easy and quick setup.

This is being used on a Midas M32. The AVIO uses 2 channels such as 7 & 8 that will need to be linked.

It does require Dante virtual soundcard for pc or mac and you will need Dante controller (free) for mapping the channels needed.

This requires POE.

[1.565 lb] This unit is great for getting 2 channels of audio into your Dante network. Just be sure you have Power Over Ethernet, either from your switch or from an injector, and off you go!
