The sound is MUCH more than I expected! I love my JBL Charge and my JBL Boombox for different lccasions, but this one is hands down the most convenient for keeping the music rolling during work hours and in places where loud music isn't quite so acceptable. I also love how it's flat on the front and back instead of round, making it more packable in small pockets. About hours of battery life and I used it a LOT over the last few days

The sound quality for such a small speaker is impressive and it lasts for between 6-8 hours per charge for me. When the weather was a little chillier I would hike with it in the pouch of my hoodie and now that it’s warmer it fits in the cell phone pocket of my shorts. I use it everyday when taking my dogs for a hike.

[9 dBm] This is a fantastic little portable speaker. The sound is plenty loud, and quite excellent for such a small speaker. The accompanying app gives you a lot of ways to optimize your listening experience. And last but not least, it is really stylish. I bought the purple one, and it is very vivid. I love it! Battery life seems decent enough at 7 hours. The ability to pair 2 of these together for stereo sound prompted me to buy another. Don’t hesitate - you won’t regret buying one of these little guys!

[9 dBm] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker was smaller than expected! Let me tell you that for its size the JBL Go 4 puts out an amazing sound! This is the smallest JBL speaker I own but it quickly became my favorite, always have it playing music on my work desk. The portability and sound quality makes this little speaker an always win. Starting off with the sound, the bass is definitely there and the vocal are really clear. The JBL Portable app makes it easy to update and tune the sound, I tried all the EQ presets and the JBL Signature EQ is my favorite since it balances everything and makes my music sound very good! The buttons on the unit are easy to locate and press. The one thing I don't like is the loop, it limits the object I can hang the speaker from, a clip or carabiner would have been great to give me more option to hang the speaker. Overall I'm really happy with this speaker and now I can take this speaker with me everywhere since it's easy to fit in a backpack or large pocket. Keep up the good work JBL!

[1x 4.2 W] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The speaker itself is incredibly compact (see pictures). At less than 4 inches wide and about 1.5 inches thick, it's a great companion to have wherever you go.
It stood out the most while golfing. I bought a small carabiner clip to attach the speaker to my golf bag and I can't describe how perfect it was: out of the way, terrific and clear sound with deep bass and plenty of volume. The speaker easily lasted the entire round and most of the way into a round the next day.
Also, I found this speaker to be extremely nice to bring hiking, working in the garage, and cleaning up around the house. I was very pleasantly surprised to hear the quality of the sound (even at high volumes) in an array of spaces and the speaker had plenty of power to keep going. Anyone looking for anything from a small desk speaker to a tag along for adventures, this speaker is the right one.

My son loves to clip it to his backpack and bring it with him to class so he can listen to music in between classes. So easy to connect to. Love that it has the ability to connect with other speakers! Definitely recommend!

[90 Hz to 20 kHz] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was hoping this would be a convenient grab and go speaker - it turned out to be that and a whole lot more! The JBL GO4 ROCKS!!! I was very impressed at the sound and the quality packed into this little speaker. It can hold its weight against some speakers 2 to 3 times it's size. Connected easily and works well with the JBL app. I also like the fact that it comes with the latest Bluetooth technology Auracast which allows you to connect other speakers, even different types that also utilize this new technology. Long battery life of up to 7 hours is also great in a speaker this size. It is also waterproof and dustproof so you don't have to worry about it on your adventures, bike rides, hiking, pool, pickleball, walks, you name it.
