Modular synthesizer enthusiasts looking for a multifunctional CV and sound source will be impressed with the erica synths Black Joystick2, a 4-channel Eurorack module with a joystick, movement recorder, distinct LFOs, and drone/noise oscillator. It provides great interaction with your modular system and allows you to develop unconventional modulation patterns easily.

The Black Joystick2 offer numerous modes beyond the standard X/Y CV joystick, including independent channel modes, a random sinewave LFO, and noise oscillator mode, which controls the pitch and amplitude of the signal, and a SNEW panner (south, north, east, west). The module includes a power ribbon cable and a set of mounting screws.

A: The Soundcraft GB4 is not able to be rack mounted. Currently Soundcraft offers the GB2R-16 which is a 16 input rack mountable mixer.

A: An audio interface is needed in order to connect the Soundcraft GB8 to a PC set up with FL Studio. There are several options for interfaces. Ultimately, what you choose is dependent on how many audio tracks you would like to record at one time and the connection to the computer. You may consider the MOTU 24Ai as a starting point. The unit connects to a computer through USB 2.0, which provides more than enough bandwidth for the twenty-four analog channels, and when connected through AVB networking, supports hundreds of network channels.

A: So you need to convert both the sdi signal and data signal to a fiber signal. I prefer using a Thor 1-Channel Mini HD-SDI Single-Mode Fiber Optic Extender Kit for each Marshall Camera, but that is just me. It mux’s both signals to one fiber and demux’s at the other end. A: The Porta Brace MXC-442B is designed to accommodate the 442 mixer, unfortunately not compatible with the 633 which would require a larger bag.

[12 HP] The Novation Circuit Tracks is by far the greatest groovebox ever built. I bought the original Circuit the week it came out in 2015, fell in love instantly, and over the years trained myself to sequence better parts. The Circuit Tracks is a fantastic follow up with two additional MIDI lanes, newly added scene functionality, and an expanded sequencer featuring step duration for each individual pattern. The sound engine appears the same as on the original Circuit but the original Circuit had a bit of digital hum to it and that has completely been removed. The delay and reverb effects are quite useful at low settings for creating ambience and at longer settings quite useful at creating washes of sound. All the knobs make real-time tweaking a joy and all the macro knobs can be recorded in your sequences for looped use. The Novation Components editor is quite good for patch design and as a librarian for backing up your sessions. I wasn't able to use my microSD card with this, as it wouldn't usually stay in and, when I did get it in, it would not copy my entire session to a new session slot. I do think this was a defect of my unit and not a consistent hardware error. This thing is great for the studio and perfect for DAWless jams but my dream is to really get nitty gritty with it and tour with it. I believe that's what Novation would want. 5

[12 HP] I haven't even watched the videos on how to properly use this groovebox yet, and I'm already having so much fun. It's my first after researching different samplers and grooveboxes. [Eurorack Module] Great keyboard, works as intended - and a good amount of options under the hood. Will your keyboard be a bit messier looking? Sure..but a really cool way to customize exactly what you want your perfect 4-voice poly/paraphonic instrument to do. And yes you can go beyond 4 voices using its midi outputs. All in all a pretty cool way to incorporate a case and keyboard in one. 5

[12 HP] Pop it in the gel frame holder at the front of the light. You'll still be able to use a gel frame in the space behind or in front, or a top hat in front of it (the donut and top hat together really clear up the image), though you can't have all three at once - there's only two slots in the mini's frame holder. 5
