A: You can use the gooseneck on the suction cup. Like all Go Pro accessories the mounts are compatible. The gooseneck will mount to the suction cup and be strong and stable. Just make sure the suction cup is secure. Don't worry about the gooseneck, it is stable enough.

Q: 8. How strong is this? I'm looking to attach a few GoPros to an airplane. Any suggestions if this is too weak for that?

A: While this is a strong clamp we do not recommend this or anything else for connecting the GoPro to an airplane. That would require a custom installation.

Q: 9. Can I use on wet surfaces? For example, pool side or bottom of pool?

A: Suction cups work best on a dry surface. If the surface is too wet the suction cup wont hold at all.

Q: 10. Is this compatible with the gopro 7?

A: Yes it is. This is compatible with all GoPro Models including the Hero7.

[0.04 lb] I bought this mount to attach a ruggedized camera to the railing on my boats center console to get great pictures of fish I have caught when I am by myself. Although this unit is designed for a GoPro camera, the plate unscrews to reveal a standard 1/4-20 stud which is compatible with most cameras. The aluminum construction is very heavy duty, and the clamp holds tight. The ball head locks up solidly as well, not moving at all even in heavy seas. 5

[1.8" (45 mm)] This thumbscrew is longer than the original screws. It extends past the GoPro media mod case and is therefor much easier to tighten when mounting. 5

[0.04 lb] Sound crazy but I work with an airshow team called FighterJets, Inc. I used this to attach a GoPro MAX 360 camera and it was flawless. For safety reasons I drilled holes in the clamp bolt and wingnut so I could secure it. The mount was on the left 23mm canon barrel and when he landed it had not moved a bit! Great product FotodioX! 5

[1.8" (45 mm)] this thing is like part of the space shuttle, a finely crafted mount. had to remove the foam pads and replace them with a harder rubber for bicycle mounting due vibration, but they might be ok for your purpose....it sits on my handlebars now as it its one with the rest of the bike! 5

[3 x 1 x 1"] If like me you use a media mod on GoPro you know the original thumb screws are too fiddly to use. This beauty just works. Extends past the edge of the case and is Aluminium rather than plastic! A great find at B&H! Very happy! 5
