By utilizing multiple features of the MantisPod together, a total of 6 different shooting modes are possible. In addition to vlogging and livestreaming, these modes can help when shooting portraits, taking time-lapse photos, conducting video chat interviews, and much more.

  • Portrait Mode: A standard 3-leg tabletop tripod setup with your device in landscape orientation.
  • Low-Angle Mode: Lowers the 3-leg tabletop option so the tripod is nearly flat for low angle perspective
  • High-Angle Mode: Allows raised, extended legs to orient a device for high angle perspective imaging.
  • Mantis Mode a short hook extends from one tripod leg, allowing the tripod to hang from fences, railings, glass partitions, and more. NOTE: Surfaces should be no more than 3.5" thick and the other 2 legs must be set against surfaces for stability.
  • Handheld Mode: Squeeze the legs together for a configuration that lets you more easily shoot on the move. It can quickly convert to Elevated Tripod mode without altering device orientation.
  • Briefcase Mode: Orient the hand grip configuration like the handle of a briefcase with the camera suspended below for low angle perspective.

[0.91 lb] The PGYTECH MantisPod 2.0 table tripod is sturdy and will easily provide a solid support for most cameras. It's quick to deploy and the ball head ARCA style clamp fits standard sized L brackets and base plates. It is made of reinforced plastic, but is strong, well designed, reasonably lightweight and does not wobble. The built-in, removable bluetooth remote shutter release is a handy and useful feature.

[Ball Head] We gave one of these handle/mini tripods with a GoPro 8 mounted, to each of our grandchildren as we started vacation. The played all week with these and we ended up with a new perspective of what vacation is all about!

[9 x 6.3 x 1.9"] After years of trying all the different travel tripods, I just hate to bring them around with me unless I know I'm setting up for landscape photos. Enter the MaintisPod? The more I use this thing, I continue to remain impressed with all that it can do, how well it works, and how I find myself using it. On a recent trip, I used it for some night photography and utilized the panoramic head feature I thought I would never really use - I used it. It's prefect for GoPro timelapse as well! This is THE single greatest vlogging tripod, but also a travel tripod you can easily take with you everywhere with enough strength to firmly support large lenses and cameras.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] It works great. I'm not much of a vlogger but I do need a good table top tripod. What little Vlogging I do it works great. I don't see it being a must have for the MSRP of $150. I caught it on sale for $70 and think it's worth every penny I paid but $150 is a bit much. The quality is extremely well made and was surprised it is metal. Pgytech makes great products but this one is very niche. I was using the joby like everyone else that has bought it and they both have their purpose and use cases. If it's on sale and you need a smaller tripod you will enjoy it. It takes up about half the space of the joby but weighs a good bit more. You could put it in a pocket if you needed to.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] This is the standard tripod when vlogging. It's almost perfect. THe build quality is great. However what its missing is a bluetooth shutter release just like the second version comes with.
