Enjoy studio-monitor quality sound from a PA speaker with the Turbosound iQ8, a powered two-way loudspeaker ideally suited for a wide range of portable and fixed installation including music and speech sound reinforcement applications.

A 2500W amplifier drives the 8" low-frequency driver and high-temperature 1" compression driver, which combine for a frequency response of 60 Hz to 18 kHz (±3 dB) and a maximum SPL of 128 dB. The iQ8 features Spatial Contour Control (SCC) DSP, which allows you to easily optimize the speaker's frequency response for the physical speaker placement. Two input channels can be switched between mic and line level with dedicated XLR Thru outputs. The Mix XLR output combines the signal from both input channels. A powerCON power cord is included.

Equipped with a very efficient and lightweight two-channel Klark Teknik Class-D power amplifier, the iQ8 provides an impressive 2500W of output power.
A high degree of control over the loudspeaker system’s performance is managed by a sophisticated, but easy to use Klark Teknik Digital Signal Processor (DSP), which provides dynamic EQ for a remarkable full-range response at low volume levels, transparent limiting for the utmost clarity at high output levels, and long-term reliability.
iQ8’s advanced DSP speaker modeling presets include detailed and accurate models of some of the audio industry’s most respected loudspeakers.

Klark Teknik developed a highly versatile Spatial Contour Control (SCC) DSP function, which allows the user to easily optimize the iQ8's frequency response for physical speaker placement. This advanced functionality provides frequency compensation for stand, floor, wall, or ceiling placement, much like the adjustments commonly found on studio reference monitors.

On the rear-panel amplifier module, you will find a full-featured user interface consisting of an LCD display, Channel A and B gain controls, and a single rotary encoder for intuitive access to level, EQ, speaker modeling, SCC, subwoofer integration, and Feedback Control (FBI). In addition to the two combination balanced XLR/jack inputs, balanced XLR outputs for each of the two independent channels, and a Mix Out XLR connector, the iQ8 features a mic/line switch and level control with signal present LED on each channel.

ULTRANET technology allows the use of Cat 5 cables for transmitting pristine multichannel audio signals and other information between ULTRANET-enabled products such as digital mixers, powered loudspeakers, and personal monitoring systems. This digital distribution networking not only eliminates the potential for RFI and crosstalk so common to analog methods, but also significantly reduces the setup or installation time required. An onboard USB port provides access for remote control of the iQ8 via PC computer, and DSP and speaker-modeling firmware updates.

The lightweight fiberglass-reinforced composite enclosure is fitted with a rugged powder coated perforated steel-mesh grille and multiple internal rigging points for permanent installations. The iQ8 is fitted with a dual-angle pole mount socket, allowing the enclosure to be pole mounted straight on, or raised and angled downwards for optimal audience coverage. Mains power input and link output is provided via Neutrik powerCON connectors.

A: The Driverack PA2 features 3 sets of line level outputs, low , med, and high, with adjustable crossover points. These can be routed to any power amp using the proper cables. The unit is also able to output full range from a single set of outputs as well. This is also accessible via the menu.

A: The Atlas Sound APT-34AT Omni-Purpose 30W Bidirectional Twin-Horn Loudspeaker is intended for use with a 25V, 70V, or 100V amplifier in a constant voltage system, not with a standard amplifier or stereo system. The speakers are designed for paging and announcements rather than for music. You would be better off with something like the Yamaha NS-AW294 Outdoor Speakers - Pair (B&H # YANSAW294BL) or Polk Audio Atrium4 All-Weather Indoor/Outdoor Speakers - Pair (B&H # POAM4085BLK) which will connect directly to your stereo receiver using standard speaker wire. They will sound much better for music and do a good job of projecting the sound.

[Fast Limiter] I bought this speaker for to use in my car to blast music everywhere I go. It gets the job done and it’s pretty loud but you are also able to link 2 of them together for some real fun!!!! Speaking of which I’ll probably go buy another one soon. PS: no it’s not rechargeable I just have a power supply. 5

[39.47 lb] Purchased a pair of these with all custom bags. Replacing my 'standard' sound system of Mackie SWA 18"+ SRM 12" 2-way system. Absolutely loved using them and happy i upgraded. Operation: I clocked myself at 46 seconds to disassemble the entire column and put all components in the cases/bags including sub. I can carry the sub though its not very mobile friendly without dolly. Erects in similar amount of time and much easier on the eyes. Audio: Compared them with Bose, EV, RCF, and Fender. Out of the group the RCF was the best sounding overall. The Turbosounds sounded better than the rest but the dual 12" sub did outperform the single sub on the RCF 12, at least for me. Aesthetically it was nicer than the RCF but the EV evolve looked the nicest and was the easiest to transport. Would highly recommend. Happy to have joined the Turbosound family. 5

[+21 dBu ] We are a church and needed speakers for outdoor events, parties, dancing, picnics for about 100 to 200 folks. I called a friend who happens to install home sound and video systems in high end homes, big dollar systems and asked him what I should get. He turned me on to QSC and narrowed it down to the CP12 series for our application. There were other speakers that did more stuff but my friend the audio expert said Get the tool that does the main job very well and not all the gingerbread, it will last a lot longer. I did and wow the speakers sound great!!! 5

[Black] I usually don't write reviews but I have to do so for this speaker.I have own few PA speakers mackie thump and others,this beast has no comparison this very powerful with excellent base I haven't connected it yet to my mixer that definitely will increase sound but so far I don't have I'm completely satisfied with this amazing sound wow.I will definitely get another one I can't wait to hear 2 of this beast sound together. Also B&H is class A received this speakers very fast delivery 5

[+21 dBu ] I've had a pair of these for a few years now. They work very well as stage monitors. I use mine primarily as a monitor for my keyboards when performing. There is a multi-position switch that changes the EQ depending on the listening mode, but I usually leave it in Stage Monitor mode. Inputs are combination XLR / 1/4 TRS jacks. However, the daisy-chain connection to another monitor is XLR only - not 1/4 TRS, which is a pain in the neck sometimes. And the volume setting on the first monitor determines the maximum volume setting on any daisy-chained monitors. Overall, a very rugged monitor that has been dropped a few times and taken its share of abuse, but has never failed me. And it's a lot smaller and lighter than comparable stage wedges. To make sure I never lose the power cord, I have caribiners on the handle and the AC cord that I just snap together when transporting it. B&H occasionally has sales on these and also bundles (stand and XLR cable) - jump on those sales when available! 5

[128 dB (Peak)] From a small band perspective, these are loud and clear. I wish there was a bluetooth off switch though. The only way to mute bluetooth seems to be with the app. Once it is connected to a device using the app at least it doesn't seem to be able to connect to another device usuing the app. ie. someone hijacking your speakers. The bluetooth and speaker linking does work well. The audio is very clear, and they are pretty loud. For a sub $500 40lb cabinet made out of plastic it sounds good. Certainly good enough for small gigs. As far as the voicing options, live or monitor sounds best to me using an analog mixer with no other outboard gear. Overall I think this a great buy at this price point. You will want some kind of cover or bag though, they did away this the screen and went with control knobs which is fine, but I feel like they could be a little more vulnerable to me. 5
