A: If you shoot both lenses at the same f/stop, say f/5.6, and then look critically, the Leica DG Summilux 15mm prime lens will be better for two reasons:1.It is a prime lens. By its nature of being a lens with fewer glass elements, it will have superior sharpness, contrast and color as well as more pronounced bokeh and smaller size. 2.The build quality of the Lumix G Vario 14-42mm is good but the build quality of the Leica DG Summilux 15mm is better.
