A: The Sennheiser MZS 600 shock mount is designed for the MKE600. The ME66/k6 is 2.5mm bigger in diameter than the mke600. It may be tight fit. The Sennheiser MZSK6 is a shock mount designed specifically for K6 microphones, but at this price-point, I would probably go with a different shockmount. Please consider the Rycote Universal Shotgun Mount (B&H# RYUSGM) as it is a better investment.

[Metal] I was flatfooted for so long on deciding what USB mic to get. I upgraded from a Blue Snowball which was getting old. Lots of choices out there nowadays with Rode, Blue, Samson, etc. Senheiser has always made quality products and this is no exception. Out of the box, I plugged it in and it was game on. By the way I plugged it into a MBP M1. I use it for Zoom and Teams calls with customers and colleagues. Everyone has told me the voice quality is great. All the controls are well designed and placed. The only minor glitch is I wished the mic arm was a bit longer but it’s so minor I dont know why I’m mentioning it unless you really need a long arm, you might consider a 3rd party arm, but don’t pass up the mic. 5

[Metal] This mic is simple to setup and works amazing out of the box. Voice sounds natural without any editing or filters, though adding a little bass helped, it was unnecessary. Post-production was minimal, no strange background noises (even cherry mx blue switches on the keyboard) 5
