[Black] I returned my Aputure spotlight mounts to buy Godox instead and it was SUCH a good decision. I don’t know why Aputure’s iris is so garbage considering they’ve had it on sale for YEARS.. but my Aputure iris was broken and completely unusable right out of the box.

If you’re trying to decide between Godox and Aputure, please do yourself a favor and get this. You’ll save yourself a lot of time and frustration.

[3.655 lb] This is a fantastic addition to my GVM COB light. I love the control it provides. To be able to spot in the light or flood it out depending on the scene is very helpful. This COB light already provides a lot of light, but adding a Fresnel pushes the intensity even more. According to GVM 10x more brighter with the Fresnel on. The specs say with the GVM SD300d, it goes from 35,000 Lux at 1m with it flooded (40 degree) to 40,900 Lux at 1m with it spotted (10 degree) and I believe it. My GVM COB light really pops with it on. If you've worked with Fresnel lenses you know how beneficial they can be, so having it as an adapter is fantastic. Meaning you can put it on or take it off whenever needed. This adds so much versatility to your COB lights. And since it is Bowens mount, it can fit most other lights with that standard mount. The build quality is also very impressive, especially at this price. It feels very well made and the mount seems strong. It comes with a rubber like material around the barrel which helps with grabbing to twist and reduces any heat you would feel spotting or flooding the light. The Fresnel attaches easily and securely, and the twisting mechanism to spot or flood is smooth. I'm very happy with this Fresnel adapter. It is very helpful and adds a significant amount of brightness to the light and also control.

[3.655 lb] I purchased the Aputure Fresnel for use with a SmallRig RC220B LED spotlight. The mount is completely compatible. The Fresnel varies the light angle roughly comparable to that of a 70-200 zoom lens on a FF camera. It's not a hard spot, but the edges fall off quickly and smoothly outside of the central region. If you need tighter control, you can add flags, use a snoot or PAR attachment. The Fresnel comes with its own case, and is easily portable.

[Black] You can't beat the quality of light that goes through a fresnel lens. This attachment is a must have accessory for my Aputure 300's. These 2X Fresnels are built well and they work well...especially for the price! (We have six of these fresnels at the moment.)

I highly recommend the Aputure Barn Doors to go with.

[3.655 lb] Precision manufacturing makes this easy and reliable. In my opinion, an iris diaphragm is required for light control with a projector. Glad to see Godox providing great accessories.
