[3 Positions] I was blown away when I opened the box and took out this tripod. It is absolutely a game changer for me. In the past when I brought a tripod I always did it reluctantly because of the weight. This tripod weighs about the same as one full frame lens but amazingly can extend to the height of eye level. One would argue it feels a bit flimsy. In my opinion I’d rather have a flimsy tripod than no tripod. And instead of hanging the tripod outside of my backpack, I can now store it inside of the bag! This is a big deal because when the tripod is hung outside, the backpack is not perfectly balanced and was not as comfortable as it could be. The price is also pretty acceptable.

I don’t have any complaints at all.

[Carbon Fiber] I was a little apprehensive at first when I bought this tripod+ballhead because it was not a brand I recognized. But having examined the product, it is every bit as good or even superior to another European brand that I had bought before. The machining of the parts are precise and it is indeed a travel tripod that now fits in my carry-on. The Arco-type quick mount is one of the things that sold the product to me. At a hefty 17-lb capacity, it is all I need as an all-purpose tripod, even good enough for my 200-400 f4 Nikkor beast of a lens. There are two levels that allows for horizontal or vertical leveling. Nothing was left to chance in this tripod product. Even the tools for configuring are included. It also functions as a monopod using one leg of the tripod and the center column. Having both spikes and rubber feet allow it to handle various terrain. And have I told you about the fact that is mostly carbon fiber and therefore very light. After buying this tripod with all its features, functionality, and included accessories, I have not had to buy anything else.

[Carbon Fiber] These are the best tripods I have ever owned. They are super light (around 3 lbs) and did not move when I had my Nikon FX with a 24-70 mm lens with the speed light. I even tried putting additional pressure to see if the camera moved. Stayed perfectly balanced in portrait mode (tilted 90 degrees). Very versatile and comes with counter weight holder in case needed for artistic angles. Carrying bag is a big plus and folds down to just under 2 feet. I’ve used it in windy conditions and in uneven terrain. They don’t move. Worth the money and I can’t wait to travel with them!

[Ball Head] Mounted my 200-500 Nikon VR lens on my D850 camera and shot the moon last week. This was the test I was looking for in a new Tripod. This one passed with flying colors. Excellent for the price!

[Yes] Ordered this to replace list travel tripod I purchased 12 years ago from B&H. Not only is this lighter, stronger and two inches shorter when folded than my old one, it also sets up much easier with one twist of bottom leg. I used this on recent trip and it was great. Much quicker and easier to deploy than models where each leg segment needs to be locked. The real bonus is the price which is half what I paid in 2012!!

[Ball Head] Very impressive for the price. Very solid and stable, easily raised and lowered. The ball head is easy to adjust and seems quite soild as well. Already used it as a monopod and love that convertible feature! The pouch for belt mounting the monopod is a thoughtful touch as well. I've been eyeing carbon fiber tripods for years, glad I took the plunge!
