I love this little printer. Easy to use right out of the box (after almost 2 hr chging time). The pics it prints are really clear. Worth every penny. If you enjoy great pics in a good sized print, buy this printer.

I was looking for a mini printer that had decent enough quality for mini prints for a journal, consistent quality, and sticky back paper. I tried the Polaroid Zip, which was beyond awful, and was told the HP Sprocket would be equally poor quality due to the zinc paper it prints on. The colors were consistently blue, dark, and just didn't come close to the original image. There was no firmware update or calibration that could have saved it.


This QX10 printer is a hundred times better! The colors are SO much better than I expected, the images are bright, and Im actually quite shocked at how close prints are to the original image. I wasn't necessarily looking for something in the square format, but you can resize the image to print full within the square and then cut the paper if you'd like, and the app has some editing tools if you're into that.

I purchased this printer to print pics for my journal. These are reminiscent of polaroids in the style of the picture, but that's it. The image is crisp, clear and colors are very accurate. The sticky back takes a moment to stick but that's not a big deal. When I first stick it to my journal pages, it acts like it wants to peel up at the corners. I just close the journal and press the pic to the page and it sticks fine. Once it is stuck, it stays and doesn't peel back at the corners.
I've also used this for my granddaughter's baby book. They fit the spaces perfectly.
The picture size is just under 2.75 wide by just under 3.5 long. The image dimensions are 2.5 x 2.5.
You download the Selphy app to print pics and it is very easy to use. There aren't a great deal of features to customize the images but that is not what I want from the app anyway. I can do that in another app.
Overall very pleased - prints quick, colors are accurate, sticky paper sticks well and images are a great size for what I wanted.

I bought this printer for travel to replace my Fujifilm Instax SP-2 printer. I've used the Instax system for several years, but the new airport CT Scanners have been shown to fog film in a single pass (Kodak posted an advisory on Facebook to that effect). The Selphy printer system is not effected by the scanners. (Of course due to Covid-19, all my travel was cancelled anyway ...)
Pros:
(1) It works well. The prints are slightly better than I get from my Selphy.
(2) The prints are thinner than the Selphy prints, and they come with a light adhesive on them. This works great if you keep a written journal of your travels, with prints pasted onto the pages.
(3) It's rechargeable, and easy to use.
(4) The prints are cheaper than the Fujifilm Instax Square prints (which are directly comparable to the Canon QX-10, but slightly more expensive than the smaller Instax credit card size prints (from the SP-2).
(5) The Canon App is easy to use (but see the cons).
Cons:
(1) The printer comes with a trial pack capable of making only 3 prints! Initially, the printer supplies weren't even available. They are available now, but not as easy to find as the Instax prints. I assume this will change.
(2) The battery is good for about 20 pictures; the battery on the SP-2 lasts much longer.
(3) The Canon App is very basic - it can adjust the size of the print, and add some text, but it doesn't have any editing functions. It just selects the central part of your picture, so I use the iPhone Photos App to edit and crop before I use the picture.
(4) You can't print directly to the printer from your camera. This only effects people using Fujifilm cameras.

Just got the Selphy for a road trip and this is a great printer. The quality and sharpness is excellent. The better the image the better the print quality. This is the perfect printer to turn any smartphone into a Polaroid camera.


The only downside to this printer is having to get off of WiFi for internet to connect to the printer with WiFi. If this printer had bluetooth it would be even better. But that said, it's a small sacrifice.


Easy charging, great portability. If you're hesitating I would say don't. Given the quality of this printer, I would not hestitate to buy the 4x6 printer by Canon as well.

Bought this for my wife to print pictures of our newborn and it has been her favorite thing to do! Love it!!!
