Q: 1. Does anyone have experience using the Mars 300 where the transmission is not line-of-sight but must deal with walls or doors?

A: There are a lot of variables that come into play when you are not doing line of sight. The only way to truly be certain is to do a test in the space where you want to use it under similar conditions. The material of the walls, the distance, and Radio Frequency environment will all affect how well this system is able to send a video signal from the transmitter to the receiver.

Q: 2. It says pro version support 1080 at 59.94p but the monitor shows 1080 at 60p. Is there a way to select the output frame rate to be exactly 59.94p? Otherwise there are no benefits in 300 pro version compare to 400s version.

A: Hi Sergey, the Mars series only supports round frames.

Q: 3. I have the original Mars 300. Can I pair the transmitter to the 300 Pro receiver?

A: No you can not.

Q: 4. Is there a recommended device that can downscale a 4k image to 1080 for this to work? I'm using it with the Blackmagic video assist which unfortunately doesn't downscale the hdmi out.

A: Regarding your question related to the Hollyland Mars 300 PRO HDMI Wireless Video Transmitter/Receiver Set (Enhanced), B&H # HOHLM300PE, if you are working with 4K signals, a 4K-compatible transmitter, such as the one that comes with the Hollyland Pyro H 4K HDMI Wireless Video Transmission System, B&H # HOPYROH, would be recommended.

Q: 5. Will this send audio as well?

A: Hi Jonathan, yes the Mars 300 Pro send audio as well.

Q: 6. Can i use the Kondor Blue L series dummy baterry to power this?

A: Yes, you can use the Kondor Blue L Dummy Battery with the Mars 300 Set.

Q: 7. What video bitrate does it use? It it higher than 8-10 mbs in 400s model?

A: Hi Sergey, actually it's the same. Mars 300 Pro/Mars 400S/Mars 400S Pro, the video bitrate is 8~12 Mbps, while the Mars 400S Pro can set to "HD Mode", which is 12 Mbps. For App monitoring, the video bitrate is 3~4 Mbps.

Q: 8. Is there a Canon Lp-E6N battery plate for these?

A: The Mars 300 Pro does not support Canon Lp-E6N battery. All Hollyland Mars series supports NPF batteries.

Q: 9. Will i get the same delay of the wireless signal on camera monitor if I connect it through the HDMI loop out on the transmitter?

A: Hi Danilo, there is no latency thru the HDMI loop out on the transmitter.

Q: 10. What is the difference between the "Enhanced" and the " Standard" version other than the antennas being added?

A: Hi Gabriel, the external antennas on the transmitter is the only difference between the "Enhanced" and "Standard" version of Mars 300 Pro. You can choose either version depending on your application environment. Normally the "Enhanced" Version has two main advantages due to the external antenna: ① Better Performance while there is interference ② You can mount the Transmitter either horizontally or vertically since the external antenna can be bent to get the best transmission signal. While the "Standard" Version is more compact with all antennas built-in.

[Aluminum] I had to replace the polarizer which came with my NiSi kit and wow, this one is amazing. The ant-reflection coating on it is amazing, got some gorgeous waterfall shots with it. There was a ton of mist and despite having to wipe the filters off a LOT, I was concerned I would still have spots on my shots. To my surprise, the shot were crystal clear!! Love this polatizwe!!

[Aluminum] I've become a fan of NiSi filters and the NiSi filter system. These are great filters and very reasonably priced. I use the ND filters for taking pictures of waterfalls and am starting to experiment with the graduated filters for sunsets. I bought the system through another outlet, before BH started stocking them. The system is great with one caveat -- it's easy to lose the the polarizing filter -- hence the need to purchase a replacement :)

I tend to leave the polarizing filter on my camera most of the time, attaching the rest of the system as needed. Unfortunately, the polarizing filter has a tendency to come off while walking about. This happened the first time I used the filter. Luckily a passing stranger noticed and let me know what happened. I managed to be careful for quite a while, but eventually lost the filter (luckily this happened just after I finished shooting for the week).

[Aluminum] I've had the V2 for some time and really like it. Wanted to upgrade for something that could handle a circular polarizer along with other filters and the V6 did not disappoint. I really like the fact that you can rotate the polarizer without needing to remove the other filters.

[55 mm] Easy to setup and well fits to my 24-70 and 16-35 lens.

[55 mm] This is my first attempt at a square filter setup. The V6 holder is very easy to install and has various step down rings for adjusting to different thread sizes. The included enhanced circular polarizer is ok and kind of limited on the polarizing effect. Definitely adds some weight to the setup but it's worth it.

[Multi Coated] Can't go wrong with this kit. Nisi makes a great product, worth every penny. No need to upgrade to the V7, the V6 is perfect.

[Glass] Great filter holder kit (holder, case, C polarizer and adapter rings) for the sale price!
The very nice case is larger than I expected.
My only reservation is, as other reviews have noted, the thumb screws on the side seem rather delicate and exposed. Not worried while on a lens but I will definitely use the case while traveling.

[Glass] Been a Lee filter fanatic for 20 yrs. Purchase the NiSi V6 system when on holiday sale under $100. Can honestly say it's quite simple to set up, adapter is solid with a locking mechanism thats brilliant my Lee filters fit so all good there. Took several pics to familiarize with the set up and it does the job well

[Multi Coated] I use only Nisi filters and two years ago went from the v5 to the v7 setup. My only complaint is with the v7 make sure that the polarizer is turned so it doesn’t wiggle out. When screwing the filter assembly on and off it the polarizer is not tight it can pop out. I have chipped two of these that way now. They still work as it’s a small chip but causes flare if light hits just right.

If you go with the V7 buy the plastic lens cover that clicks on over the polarizer. It works great and I leave it on all the time now when not in use. Pretty much always attached to my 14-35 lens unless need for another.
