Acid- and lignin-free, the paper has an expanded color gamut, natural contrast, and a high ink load capacity. Q: 1. What is the grain direction on the 13x19 paper, GS or GL?

A: According to Moab, unfortunately they produce all of their sheet paper in either GS or GL based on lot number. Due to our large inventory, we cannot confirm the ones we test will be the ones you receive. Moab's website says "Depending on the converting yields, we cut our sheets in both short and long grain configurations and record the grain direction in the lot numbers with either a GL or GS for 'grain long' or 'grain short' respectively." They mention contacting Moab directly for specific projects that require grain direction for information on specific batches of paper.

Q: 2. Will I be able to run this paper through an Epson Stylus Pro 3800?

A: Yes it is compatible with the Epson Pro 3800.

A: Hello John,I just received this from B&H, What profile should I use for this paper with HP Vivera pigment ink? I cannot help you because I am using an Epson Printer with Epson Inks.

Q: 6. Can this paper be used with an inkjet printer? I have an Epson Photo Stylus R300 and need a replacement paper for Ilford's Smooth Pearl. I do not want glossy paper.

A: This paper is compatible with inkjet printers and is compatible with the R300.

Q: 7. what grain is this cut to?

A: Good question. Each box is coded with the grain direction by either a 'GS' for Grain Short - or 'GL' for Grain Long within the lot number that is printed on the back side of the box on the label. The lot number will be a series of letters and numbers stamped on the label. The GS or GL indicates grain direction.

Q: 8. I have an Epson Stylus Pro 9800. Do you know the ICC profile for the Epson Cold Press Natural Archive Paper?

A: Go on Epson website, choose the paper you want, then scroll and find the ICC profile for your printer. Download the ICC profile.

Q: 9. Is this water proof/plastic feeling on one side?

A: This would be a single sided Water-resistant Japanese Washi. I do not find it to have a plastic type feel to it, but it is Water-resistant (not water-proof).

Q: 10. Is this the same as the Signature Worthy paper?

A: Yes! this is 1 out of the 7 Signature Worthy Paper of the Epson sample Pack.

[Yes] I've been using Entrada Rag Bright (190, 290 and 300 gsm weights) for years, and have never been disappointed. This paper has a spectacular bright base, and excellent black point characteristics. This is my go-to substrate for exhibition prints on art paper. I've seen a couple of reviews concerning defective sheet and roll stock, but I've never had ANY problems with either kind of stock of any weight; sheet count and roll length have always proven to be accurate in every package I've ever purchased. 5

[Yes] Moab Entrada Natural 300 paper is my favorite photographic paper. It’s a rich matte and it works with both color and black and white fine art prints. Such a beautiful feel to it! 5

[Yes] I have been using this heavyweight 300gsm double-sided paper for printing and fabricating a oversize artist book. The paper is excellent in every way. The prints look beautiful, the texture and heft of the paper are wonderful. A heads-up: I had to have a custom profile made for this paper; the profile available on the Moab site was not effective with my printer. 5

[Matte] I tried out several different papers of this type and this was my favorite. Great colors. Great contrast for a matte finish. 5
