[Empty] I have been using the Thule EnRoute now for a coupe of weeks and really like it. I use it for commuting to work so it holds my ipad pro, notebooks, book and occasionally my lunch with plenty of room. I have a Contigo water bottle and that is no problem as well. Plenty of little compartments so for an overnight it held a change of clothes as well as toiletries. Its big but not too big. Easy to take on and off and the straps seem to be in exactly the right spot.

[1.51 lb] After lots of research between patagonia, the north face, and nike/adidas backpacks, I finally bought the thule lithos 20L for college. And I feel like all my research paid off. This backpack is the perfect size for bringing all the supplies needed for class. The zippers are very smooth and feel high quality. The fabric holds its shape, so it gives the backpack lots of structure and a nice thickness. The waterbotle holders are roomy for my slim water bottle, but might not work for those huge hydro flask bottles. The front pocket snaps back into place very satisfyingly. And perhaps most importantly, it's so comfortable to wear!

[Zipper] I purchased this to use on work trips and it's been a great add. Fits a 15" laptop and all other work accessories with room to spare. Especially like front compartment to also carry personal items that can't fit in the carry-on. The strap to attach to a roller bag is much appreciated as well.

[Empty] I have the older version of this backpack, without the extra zippered pocket on the front. I have had it for almost four years now, and it has been with me everywhere. There are minimal signs of wear, and even those are in unproblematic places. I manage to fit my Nalgene in the side pocket, and carry a lot of things in this small bag. The pockets are great, it is simple, and extremely durable. I highly recommend.

[Yes] I just got back from 9 days in Thailand and needed a bag that would hold everything PLUS be carry on approved. This bag held everything down tight and I had my laptop inside the computer compartment. Loved all the extras you don't notice until you get the bag. Security features are awesome and I wonder who thought of them because they rock. This bag is has super clean lines when everything is cinched down and made it super easy putting in overhead plane bins, bus bins, on ferry's and carrying on my back when riding a moped. The ability to hide the waist straps is really good. When traveling I saw so many other travelers with waist straps that just hang free. Why is this an issue? When stopping at bathrooms, for example, they put their bags on the floor and the straps are resting on really gross bathroom floors; in Thailand some of the toilets are just holes in the floor and a bucket of water to "flush." My bag straps where neatly tucked away. The top hard case is such an amazing feature and the hidden water bottle compartment. My girlfriend had a similar Northface bag and she keeps bugging me to buy her one of these. Only thing I would change is something I read in another persons review; I'd change the orientation of the top hard safety compartment's zipper. When the bag is laying flat, say on a bed, and the straps for the bag are on the bottom side, if one opens the hard case anything loose will fall out. It's not a big issue at all though. I also bought travel cubes and that made a huge difference. Twice I was stopped by TSA and they searched my bag; travel cubes made it SO easy to put everything back and get on my way!

Long story short, do not hesitate to purchase this bag! I never leave reviews but felt this bag deserved it.

Not to mention the price was in my budget, and the color. I'm glad I purchased this backpack, I'm very satisfied with what I got for the price.
