Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does anyone has experience using this tripod with Manfrotto 500BALLSH (100mm half-ball, short handle) part #MA500BSH? My concern is that Benro 100HB 100mm half-ball part #BEBL100 has a longer handle. Could not find the handle length info.

A: The Manfrotto 500BALLSH 100mm Half-Ball with Short Locking Handle will work fine with this tripod, BH #MA500BSH. https://bhpho.to/3sGhKmM

Q: 2. Does the case have a backpack strap? Or is it shoulder strap?

A: The carry bag has a shoulder strap.

Q: 3. How low can this tripod go? I’m looking for a low angle, 6”-8” from the ground.

A: This tripod has a minimum height of 6 inches.

Q: 4. Hello, is the 100mm bowl compatible with a sachtler 100mm head? I have the sachtler DV 12 SB 100mm head.

A: Yes, a 100mm ball head like the Sachtler DV 12SB Fluid Head should work fine with these tripod legs.https://bhpho.to/2AJbhA8

Q: 5. Does the fluid head have a flat base for mounting it on a slider?

A: The SmallRig FreeBlazer Heavy-Duty Carbon Fiber Tripod System's DH10 fluid head (4165) is a flat base fluid head, which mounts to the tripod legs via a 75mm bowl adapter.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with Benro IB2 Triple Action Ball Head?

A: I don't think so. I quickly looked up the ball head you're looking at. It has a flat mount on the bottom... these legs are designed for a head with a 75mm bowl type mount

Q: 7. Will this work with an older O'Connor 1030 head from the '90s?

A: If the head has a 100mm ball mount, it should work with the Benro C674TM Carbon Fiber Tandem-Leg Video Tripod (100mm Bowl).

Q: 8. Do the legs come with a bag?

A: No, the Manfrotto Carbon Fiber Twin Leg Video Tripod Legs with Mid-Level Spreader (100/75mm Bowl) does not include a bag with the legs. A good bag for this tripod and head would be: Manfrotto Padded Tripod Bag (35.4") BH #MAMBAG90PN

Q: 9. Is this a "H Series" Benro tripod?

A: Benro lists this tripod as part of their S Series, not H Series.

Q: 10. Is this compatible with the Leofoto LB-75S Leveling Base?

A: Yes, the Benro A373T Aluminum Video Tripod will adapt to all 75mm half bowl systems.

[75 mm Bowl] This is a solid tripod. I bought it based on the payload to price ratio. It's a real bargain. Holds my jib, counter balance weights, and my Ursa Mini Pro effortlessly. I was a little worried at first that was t was so inexpensive, but it serves its function very well.

[Flip Lock] The mechanism is great, it is really more easy to operate than tripods with various locks

[75 mm Bowl] Very light weight, yet strong.

[Flip Lock] This set of legs works perfect with the Manfrotto 75mm ball head. I paired these two together to save some coin and still came out with a stellar tripod system. The locking mechanisms are smooth and durable. I love that I don't have to unlock 9 locks to operate the tripod, only 3. The legs are light and support a lot of weight which is ideal for both ENG or Indie filmmaking. The rubber feet stay in place and keep the spurs clean, Only con- wish it came with a bag!

[75 mm Bowl] First thing to say is that I would consider this tripod 3 stage instead of 2. There are single rails that slide out from the double rails, giving these sticks great height and range. Not to mention from a single lock---which is the best feature by far. Coming in at a close second is how light weight this is. Even with the Manfrotto MVH500AH Fluid Video Head, these sticks are still so easy to throw on my shoulder on a run-and-gun.

The quality seems good (only had it for a week or so). The plastic isn't brittle. It feels like any Manfrotto or Sachtler tripod I've used. I 100% recommend these sticks for your medium/lightweight camera.

[75 mm Bowl] Happy with the quick and easy setup. Easy to jump from location to location and alter the height with the single lock on each leg. The mid-level spreader also adjusts and alters the footprint. I paired this with the Manfrotto 504HD and am very happy with the whole package!

[Yes] This is a very nice tripod for the money. One knob locks all the legs at once when you extend them. This feature lets you set up and folm very quickly. Ive owned a lot of tripods, and this one is the best. I use this tripod for filming news events for the TV stations. The only downside, it doesn't come with a carry bag.

[3] Excellent tripod, especially for the price. Upgraded from a manfroto that would twist and shake when pan and tilting. My rig is about 20lb when all is attached and this baby is steady as a horse.
