Or does it just mean that RED hasn't approved it to be fast enough to capture 8K120 Raw? Two very different things and just wondering if anyone has tried any other media. Thanks!

A: The RED PRO CFexpress Type B cards are RED approved, meaning they have been tested and approved by RED. Third-party media cards are compatible with the camera system but are not officially approved by RED. As long as the read and write speeds of the third party media meet or exceed those of the RED PRO CFexpress Type B cards, there should be no issue using third party media cards. Just note that damage and warranty will not be covered by RED.

A: the camera was recently announced and has not started shipping yet, red hasn't provided a list of approved 3rd party accessories yet, hence we are unfortunately unable to provide any concrete answers at the moment.

Q: 3. Is the Canon Cine Servo 25-250 using an EF-RF adapter compatible with this camera when shooting 8k?

A: The Canon CINE-SERVO 25-250 will cover up to a Super35 sensor size. With the RED Raptor, you will be able to shoot up to 6K without any vignette.

Q: 4. does this camera have the same SDI problem as Komodo does?

A: We have not heard of any customers having issues with the V-Raptor however we recommend using shielded 12G rated SDI cables with this camera as a precaution to prevent issues from occurring.

A: In Full Frame the Camera will record in 8K RAW. every resolution underneath that will window (or crop) in on the sensor.

Q: 9. Does this tripod come with a hook underneath the baseplate?

A: Yes. There is a hook on the underside of the Top Plate.

Q: 10. What is the native ISO?

A: RED does not list the native ISO. In the past RED users suggest 800 as a starting point for your exposure and LUT.

[5.8 x 5 x 1.4"] If you are looking for a top plate for the Canon EOS C70, look no further. This thing is a rock. Using the two screws deal to secure to the top is, in my own words, legit. The plate feels super secure, does not block any essential functions, and the metal doesn't bleed like Tilta's. This was a must for me since I travel with the C70. In humid climates, Tilta's coating starts coming off and gets caked in sweaty hands. Not an issue here. I recommend this product. 5

[Gray] I finally built my proper cinema rig, and this camera cage is the perfect addition to it. The cage is extremely sturdy with no flex at all, and it has a ton of mounting options for extra gear. I love that the carry handle comes with a recording start/stop button, and that it also has a bubble level, magnetically held tools in the baseplate and a sensor plane mark/screw. The cage also has the support strut on the left of the lens rather than the right, so I can use my Meike EFTR-CL drop in filter adapter without issue, unlike with other cages. This cage costs more than the smallrig and tilta options, but it is worth the premium for those features. Also it just looks super cool! 5

[5.8 x 5 x 1.4"] I didn't think I could like a cold shoe plate this much. The material looks and feels so premium. I like that it's directional with borders around 3 sides (instead of just 2 like the SmallRig cold shoe plates I'm used to) because it makes me feel more secure. 5

[0.255 lb] I own and love many Kondor Blue products, and the Talon Top Handle has to be one of my favorites. I'm surprised no one has reviewed this thing yet. In a seemingly endless sea of camera rig brands and products, this handle stands out for it's clever design and superb functionality. It's a little heavier than some similar-sized handles, but it feels nice and compact. By putting the vertical support between your first and middle fingers, you have a grip that feels more secure. I have medium-sized hands, and my hand fits the split design perfectly. If you have big ol' bear paws, your pinkie may hang off the end. The firm but rubbery pad is comfortable. There is an excellent variety of mounting options that includes a 1/4-20 mount, two 1/4-20 mounts with locating pins, a 3/8 mount with locating pins, two combo 3/8 mounts with locating pins and 1/4-20 inserts, two cold shoes and two NATO lengths. And, a built-in wrench and a bubble level. I own two of these for my R5C and C70 cameras. In my humble opinion, one of the best-designed top handles out there. 5

[Gray] I've looked at all other top plates. This one not only looks sleek to impress my clients, but on the C70, this lets me add a Hdmi Transmitter and Rode Audio reciever while still rocking a shotgun mic. Top handle hand space is still not compromised. I can't imagine loving it anymore then I do. 5
