The FPH-63Q dual panoramic ball head offers rotation at the base and under the quick release platform. It has two bubble levels and includes an Arca-type compatible quick release plate. It provides tension adjustment and has a numbered scale on the base for precision movement.

One leg of the tripod features a padded grip for added comfort and grip. It can be unscrewed and attached to the removable center column to form a convenient 72.4" tall monopod for situations when a tripod is too bulky or slow, like when shooting sports or wildlife.

The center column is operated with a rapid release knob with an ergonomic three-wing design, with a buffered movement design to prevent sudden accidental movement that may cause camera or lens damage. It is made of carbon fiber and features a ballast hook for added stability. The ballast hook unscrews to reveal a storage compartment that contains a smartphone holding clip and a leg wrench for adjusting the tripod.

Each leg has a rubber foot for traction on most surfaces, which can be removed to reveal a steel spike for use on slick or icy surfaces.

The leg spider incorporates dual threaded accessory mounts that allow accessories to be attached via a magic arm or similar extension. Easily add a microphone, compact LED light, monitor, or more to create custom setups. The included leg wrench can be combined with the included smartphone holder to act as a magic arm and monitor.

[Yes] This tripod is amazing! It is unbelievably compact and lightweight. It is perfect for traveling with a small, light camera, such as the Canon R10 with an RF-s lens.

It is not for heavy, full-frame cameras, or pro work. I would never use it with my full-frame battery-grip camera, and a large f2.8 lens. But that's not what it's for.

If you want an incredibly compact and lightweight travel tripod for a lightweight camera, this is it. It is awesome!

[4.94 lb] This tripod design is so well thought out. It weighs nothing, it’s sturdy and it folds down so small. The split center column is great for low shots. The ball head is really well thought out. There’s a panoramic adjustment on the clamp on top and if I adjust the ball to portrait mode and mount my 40-150 f2.8 or 100-400 lens collars on in this position I can shoot like I do with a gimbal. Saves a lot of weight and space traveling with its versatility. Love the quick deployment

[Carbon Fiber] This is one truly great tripod. I have two other tripods. One is the Manfrotto 055MF4, which is also a carbon fiber tripod. It maybe sturdy but is still somewhat heavy. The tripod alone weights 5.3 lbs. Add a decent Ball Head it would be about 10 lbs. So for non-critical photo trips I would carry a MeFoto 5-section aluminum tripod. Compare to the Manfrotto tripod the MeFoto one is lighter and shorter when fully folded . However it's not as sturdy. When the camera is mounted, the tripod legs would squat outward. Also under windy condition it vibrates. So when I saw the ad for this tripod I was somewhat skeptical. After I read all the rave reviews I decided to take a plunge. Once I received this Fofopro tripod it was love at first sight. I am really surprised how intelligent the design of this tripod is: The way the retractable center column screw head for the hook would come out, The conversion to a monopod, the reverse folding legs, the spikes that hide under the rubber boots, etc. Also I can't believe how light this Fotopro tripod is. It's even lighter than the 5-section MeFoto travel tripod. I attached my camera (D850 with 24-70, F/2.8 lens) to it and it felt solidly sturdy. It has the feel of quality material and workmanship. It's not battle tested yet, but it seems to be a winner!

[Ball Head] These are the best tripods I have ever owned. They are super light (around 3 lbs) and did not move when I had my Nikon FX with a 24-70 mm lens with the speed light. I even tried putting additional pressure to see if the camera moved. Stayed perfectly balanced in portrait mode (tilted 90 degrees). Very versatile and comes with counter weight holder in case needed for artistic angles. Carrying bag is a big plus and folds down to just under 2 feet. I’ve used it in windy conditions and in uneven terrain. They don’t move. Worth the money and I can’t wait to travel with them!

[Carbon Fiber] Very impressive for the price. Very solid and stable, easily raised and lowered. The ball head is easy to adjust and seems quite soild as well. Already used it as a monopod and love that convertible feature! The pouch for belt mounting the monopod is a thoughtful touch as well. I've been eyeing carbon fiber tripods for years, glad I took the plunge!
