A: You will get a fairly even light in the 60 degree beam this reflector projects. The light will be specular, hard and directional and outside of the beam angle it will fall off fairly quick. If you want a softer light you can use diffusion. The larger the source the softer the light. If you want a tighter beam with a more dramatic fall off you can use 7" grids.

A: Make sure the locking knob on the side of the bulb is loosened. Insert the bulb in the reflector. Rotate the reflector Until the notches line up and it slides in farther. Rotate a little more to lock. Tighten the locking knob.
