Q: 1. Can this paper be used with an inkjet printer? I have an Epson Photo Stylus R300 and need a replacement paper for Ilford's Smooth Pearl. I do not want glossy paper.

A: This paper is compatible with inkjet printers and is compatible with the R300.

Q: 2. when it says pigment or Dye ink, does that mean it works with inkjet printers?

A: Yes, Inkjet printers usually use Dye or Pigment inks. So that paper will work on most inkjet printers.

Q: 3. Does this paper contain OBAs (optical brightening agents)?

A: I don't think so,it's pretty dull and soaks up the ink

Q: 4. What is the brightness percentage/level of Lasal Matte?

A: Moab Lasal Photo Matte 235 is rated at 103% Brightness.

Q: 5. What is the surface like on this reverse side of this paper? Can you inkjet print text or write with a ballpoint pen?

A: The Moab Lasal Exhibition Luster 300 Paper (4 x 6") 50 Sheets BH #MOLEL4650 is single sided and not coated for Inkjet on the back so you would not be able to print on it but could write with a felt tip pen.

Q: 6. Is there any way to request short grain or long grain for this paper?

A: Hi Clint, although you cannot specifically order by grain direction, the grain direction is indicated on each box of paper in the lot# on the reverse side of the box - on the label. Within the series of stamped letters and numbers is either GS or GL indicating grain direction.Having said that, on the larger sheets like A2 and 17x22 the grain direction will almost always be GL due to the yields in the manufacturing process.

Q: 7. What is the grain direction on the 13x19 paper, GS or GL?

A: According to Moab, unfortunately they produce all of their sheet paper in either GS or GL based on lot number. Due to our large inventory, we cannot confirm the ones we test will be the ones you receive. Moab's website says "Depending on the converting yields, we cut our sheets in both short and long grain configurations and record the grain direction in the lot numbers with either a GL or GS for 'grain long' or 'grain short' respectively." They mention contacting Moab directly for specific projects that require grain direction for information on specific batches of paper.

Q: 8. Can this tissue be used to mount fiber based pictures using an electric iron?

[Single] I use this paper for printing my fine art prints on and it prints so beautifully on it. It look so crisp and rich- almost like it was painted on! I love it. I wish they had more sizes so I didn't have to cut it down but thats also a plus because I can make it any size per the demand. And B&H sells it inexpensively! 5

[1.58 lb] I tried many other brands of paper until I was referred to Entrada by a friend. The paper has a true brilliant white that I love for printing my images and its weight and dual purpose allows me to print on both sides as I test for the perfect print. I am also an experienced print maker having learned the craft and technique of etching and printmaking. Entrada is akin to the very best of printmaking papers giving my images the feel of something more than a photograph. I can't say enough about it. 5

[300 gsm] I used this for small test prints before printing full size prints for my portfolio. The portfolio paper is 190 GSM, however the difference in weight doesn't seem to make a difference in the print output. Perfect for test prints, or small fine art prints. I love the thick weight and texture, however, make sure to brush the surface of the paper before printing! 5

[Cotton Rag] Lately, I have grown to like matte, heavy papers more and more, so I thought I would just try this one out. I am very happy with the purchase and I am definetely looking forward to buying more of that paper. I have used this paper with an HP B9180, and used a Spyder 3 Studio to do the calibration. I obtained great results from picture 1. Colors are fantastic, especially reds, browns, yellows. Blue are not as nice, but still very good, especially for a matte paper. Details are very good too, much better than I expected. It gives pictures a very natural feeling. Moreover, I consider the price of this paper is very reasonable given what we get. Highly recommended! 5
