[Autofocus] Even though this lens has released for other mounts over a year ago, its unique wide angle view and fast aperture works very well for APS-C cameras. There’s not many well made zoom lenses that offer a lot for your money like this one. When I used it on my train ride, I stuck to the 18mm end to avoid cropping. The photos made with the lens were good, and I’m glad not to have to spend 2k for a 10-20 f4 FF lens that would offer pretty much the same thing.

[f/2.8] I bought this lens for vlogging and real estate videography and it was PERFECT. The FOV is wide enough to where you can throw on stabilization and have it still be wide enough.

[109.7° to 76.5°] Wow. That is all you need to say. This lens is stunning for the price, and it’s sharp all throughout the focal lengths even wide open at f/2.8 …

I have always been shy to get a zoom lens because I like it to be fast and sharp like a prime. When I was struck between the Sony 11mm f1.8, Sigma 16 and Viltrox 13 this lens popped into my feed. I instantly realized the power this has given the constant aperture of 2.8-

Great for landscapes, great for astrophotography, and great for video!

[APS-C] I have several of the big L lenses and love them. But they are very heavy and clunky for airplanes etc. I figured I would try this one as a “carry around” on my L mount camera. Did not know what to expect, but I really began to love it in about 30 minutes. It’s extremely fast to focus, and after tweaking camera settings the RAW images were great to work with. Felt more like I was working with an M camera. You can’t make a billboard from the shots, but they are very nice images. Could capture geese in flight, Some of the best images I shot in my life were on a Brownie film camera as a kid, and this lens on the SL brought back some of that fun, with much better images. Almost like shooting with a Ricoh G camera on the street.

[7, Rounded] I have not been disappointed with this lens, very sharp and creates beautiful images.

[Autofocus] I can't tell you how much I love this lens for what it does!!!


For work, I was able to capture shots for a website we're producing. It worked out great!!!


Taking it to Hoboken NJ to take pics of NYC skyline and NJ shore in near future. Can't wait to see what it can really do!!!


VERY HAPPY I purchased!!!!!!!

[67 mm (Front)] Purchased this to use on my Fujifilm X-T5.

I looked at the Fujifilm XF 10-24mm F4 R OIS WR, but couldn’t justify the extra cost and the sigma is f/2.8 vs. f/4 on the Fujinon.

Great color saturation; very sharp.

[1:4] Using it on R6, R8, R5, R5C ... what a great lens !
sadly Canon's firmware FORCES the 1.6 crop on fullframe bodies instead of letting us choose and deal with vignetting the way we want... creatively... And of course you loose more than half the MP when cropped but so what ! there's still plenty more than enough for most uses ( remember we started on 10D , 300D with only 6.3MP , GH5S has only 10MP, A7S2 has only 12MP... you only need 2.1MP for 1080p video, only 8.4 MP for 4K ... largest image on Facebook is less than 3MP in 3x2 ratio.... you really don't need more than half of your camera's sensor.... , and you may loose a few other options ( slowmotion video, and on RP you loose 1080p ) , and you loose optionnal aspect ratios in photo... HOWEVER if you have the R5C : in photo it will force 1.6 crop, but NOT in video !!! So you can shoot it 10-18mm f/2.8 fullframe video. Not much vignetting at 10mm , and you can reduce it by using digital video IS , and crop letterbox inpost ... great great lens to use on fullframe body, too.
