[Pacific Blue] Used this for a drum recording session. The snare tracks came out great with A LOT less of the hi-hat and other drum sounds in the mix. I had to set this up quickly, I would suggest working with it a bit before a recording session to make sure you are comfortable with positioning etc.

[Pacific Blue] I like the size of the light relative to its effectiveness, it is bright and soft and has two source of power, battery and plugged. you can control it with your smartphone and you can have the temperature changed as needed to the environment.


overall, solid light, portable, has a bag too, the stand could be better in terms of height and flexibility.

[PET] Ordered two different mic shields at the same time - this one (ordered from B&H) worked right out of the box with no modifications. It does not 'ring'� like the other non-PrimAcoustic brand does.

[PET] I purchased 2 of the Stratus Broadband Ceiling Clouds by Primacoustic from B&H Photo Video Pro Audio. The acoustic panels are light in weight and the instructions are simple so they are easy to assemble and install. I have the acoustic panels hovering over my centered listening position on a slight angle 3 feet above me. They widen the sweet spot of your mix and enhance spacial imaging dramatically as well as clarity. One of the best improvements to my control room. Nothing negative about these, I would recommend them to any serious audio engineer looking to enhance clarity and overall performance in their mixes.

[PET] This light is AMAZING! Everything about it is high quality! First off the mounting bracket was very well thought out. It has three holes to adjust for the size of the table or desk you are mounting it to. Then there is the pole. The height of it works perfect for sitting at your desk or table. Next the power cord is long enough that you do not need to run an extension cord to plug it into your our outlet. This light all the way around was very thought out!

[Pacific Blue] The Raya Bi-Color Round LED Panel Light is the best light you can find at this price point! First and foremost the fact that I can control not only the power output (Brightness) but can also control the color temperature all the way to 5600K is fantastic! It's built very well, lots of plastic but very sturdy and light. When you add the batteries (which are an amazing feature) if you are taking video calls at your local starbucks or co-working space, the light performs like a champ. It's very powerful and consistent. I use mine one a tabletop light stand or a desk mounted stand (as you can see in the photos). The 9 disco is big but small enough to fit in a backpack easily. I'm thinking about buying a second one for my wife! [ I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion].

[Pacific Blue] I'm a teacher at a museum and when the pandemic hit, all of our work shifted online and suddenly involved live production for a team scattered across the city with no physical tech support or training.

As it became clear that ambient lighting was not sufficient for the variety of locations (dining room tables, spare bedrooms, basements, lots of windows, no windows) we were shooting in, lighting became a priority.

I ordered and tested many, many options. This was by far the best value, most flexible/adaptable, easy-to-learn, solution that left potential for growth as we gained videography skills.

After using them for many months, I'd purchase them again in a heartbeat.

Key considerations for us were:

Portability/compactness - They're quite compact and robustly built. We've packed them up and moved them hundreds of times.

A soft (not harsh) light that we could use for hours at a time. Edge lighting is great. Bare LEDs are exhausting to work under for extended periods.

Adaptability - The included stands are great, and floor or table mic stands are cheap. Bi-color was critical as our lighting conditions changed over the course of a day.

Physical controls - I didn't see this coming, but with so much of our work life suddenly becoming digital, the ability to just turn a knob to adjust brightness or color temp was a relief for my team. Adding more devices to our networks or plugging them into our computers was just one more thing that could go wrong.

A solution that would have a long life as our videography and photography skills increased. We all stared out as novices. As we've gained skills and fluency, these lights are growing with us.

In short, they're awesome.
