A: This 4-1/2" grip head is designed to mount into the Junior Receiver of a Combo stand or an Overhead Rolling Stand. You will want to use a 6" Pin With Collar (PN: 429599) to mount your strobe and a 2.1/5" Grip Head (PN: 350580) to mount onto the Extension Arm of the C-Stand.

A: This grip head is meant to convert a stand with a junior receiver to accept an overhead butterfly frame.

A: It is offset so the gobo will work properly. I like to use two stacked on top of each other. One to hold a silk and the other a negative for OTFs in full sun.

Q: 10. how do I release the cup from any surface? The surface is vertical and what I believe to be the release is underneath and I cant see it.

A: There is a rubber tab protruding from the side of the suction cup (same color/material as the cup itself). Place your thumb under it and push up; the suction will release.
