This raven black Base Rig Cage from Kondor Blue is specifically designed to work with the FUJIFILM X-H2S. Anchored on the pillars of speed, strength, and sleekness, the cage harnesses Kondor Blue’s innovative Hatch System, providing a distinctive method to mount your camera cage with minimal bolts while ensuring steadfast stability. The incorporation of a mid-rail and eyelet inserts furnishes unparalleled structural integrity to the camera, requiring only four bolts for full assembly or removal of the cage. This base rig model comes with an adjustable baseplate, two 8" 15mm rods, and a FUJIFILM X cine cap.

Users can seamlessly mount the cage by pivoting the bottom plate 180°, positioning the cage atop the camera while inserting the eyelet connectors, and then swinging the bottom plate back into position. A: Yes, this should work as it is also employing an ARRI Standard Dovetail.

A: The cage connects to the rig through 15mm rods. You will be able to remove the cage from the rods, but it is not a quick release system. You will need to slide if off.

Q: 4. Can this be used as an audio aux cable too?

A: TY Tim Z, but I guess if you're using it as an aux. cable from an old cellphone, it will carry the sound, and you can use it as an adapter to 3.5mm to record into a recorder/computer mic jack. God Bless.

[4.725 lb] I've used two other cages on a C70 on two ends of the budget spectrum - a Bright Tangerine half cage setup ($1,000+) and a Tilta full cage setup ($100), both great for different reasons. I decided I needed a minimalist setup that kept the weight down to a bare minimum. I was nervous about leaving a $5,000 investment unprotected, but eventually dove in and bought this skeletal cage. I love it. There's not much to say about the baseplate, because there's not much to it either. It offers mounting points on three sides and has an HDMI bracket to protect your HDMI from being twisted or bent. It isn't a locking HDMI protector, keep that in mind. In my opinion, this is a more elegant solution. Fewer moving parts, and it does it's job. It's not there to prevent an HDMI from getting pulled out, it's there to prevent bending or twisting damage to your HDMI cable and the C70's HDMI port. The side plate was a question mark for me, and still is to a degree. I removed my C70's hand strap a while back since the only thing it was good at was being a sweat collector. I installed the side plate and... I kinda like it? I don't see myself attaching much to it, but it's attractive, it'll be functional if the need ever arises, and it's surprisingly comfortable. The top plate is fantastic. Since it attaches to both the top shoe and the sensor plane marker mounting points, and feels nice and secure. It offers the combination of mounting points I need for my setup. I opted for the cage-only bundle since I already own the awesome Kondor Blue Talon handle that I love. 5

[FUJIFILM X-H2S] This cage has two mounting points and a great tool I have the tilta cage for my a7s iii and this is better in having a multiple mounting point and overall lighter. I feel no bend or flex on the cage w my gear on it 5

[Baseplate, Cage] I am satisfied with this cage. I think its way better than Smallrig's version. I also like the fact that the nato rail is the perfect fit to mount my favorite Nitze top handle. I highly recommend it! 5

[FUJIFILM X-H2S] Great cage for the price, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a cage for their Canon R,R6 or R5! The Kondor Blue cage fits my R5 perfectly and allows for almost any mounting configurations neatly and without allot of hassle. The top handle breaks down and builds back up in seconds with the nato rail system. The remote trigger works flawlessly once you set the shutter button to start recording video on a full press. The cage was shipped to South Africa via DHL and I have no complaints there. 5

[4.725 lb] I finally built my proper cinema rig, and this camera cage is the perfect addition to it. The cage is extremely sturdy with no flex at all, and it has a ton of mounting options for extra gear. I love that the carry handle comes with a recording start/stop button, and that it also has a bubble level, magnetically held tools in the baseplate and a sensor plane mark/screw. The cage also has the support strut on the left of the lens rather than the right, so I can use my Meike EFTR-CL drop in filter adapter without issue, unlike with other cages. This cage costs more than the smallrig and tilta options, but it is worth the premium for those features. Also it just looks super cool! 5

[Baseplate, Cage] Smallrig is the best at this. Their cages always fit right, and this is no exception. Very strong, not heavy at all, and with lots of points to add stuff to your rig. It feels good in the hand. I love it. 5

[4.725 lb] Most cages for the Canon R5 C (and R5) block your path to change the filter in the Canon filter adapter. This cage leaves that path open. It additionally is build very solid and the quality is excellent. 5
