From the instant your signal enters the MILAN M10, the built-in DSP (Digital Signal Processor) takes over, ensuring the highest possible signal integrity. Much more than just selective EQ enhancement, the M10's 24-bit DSP analyzes the incoming signal and intelligently applies specific filters to actually improve the sound quality. It is very much like having an audio engineer monitoring the input and output signals of each M10, dialing in the perfect EQ, and constantly making subtle adjustments to the crossover, compressor/limiter and more, which all adds up to significantly better sound.

Thanks to revolutionary Class-D amplifier technology, the M10 is able to provide enormous power and incredible sonic performance in an easy-to-use, ultraportable and lightweight package. Class-D amplification offers the ultimate in energy efficiency and eliminating the need for heavy power supplies and massive heat sinks. The lightweight Switch Mode Power Supply, coupled with the industry-leading Klark Teknik Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module, provides dynamic equalization and sophisticated limiting functions, ensuring optimal performance and long-term reliability.

With its 1100W of pristine digital output delivered through separately powered drivers courtesy of true bi-amping (two amplifiers per speaker system), the M10 delivers high-resolution sound that brings out the best in your music.

The MILAN M10 loudspeaker features a high-excursion 10" LF and 1" high-temperature dome compression driver to perform flawlessly in conjunction with every other element for truly professional results.

The M10's HF compression driver is mated to a specially designed converging elliptical waveguide, which provides a smooth and pristine midrange to high-frequency transition while maintaining wide dispersion and exceptional pattern control.

The onboard mixer features a Level control for each input and a two-band master EQ, complete with a switchable low-cut filter (set at 100 Hz), which allows the M10 to provide superb clarity and projection when used as a wedge monitor or to ensure correct integration with subwoofers. An additional filter allows you to select Speech (for enhanced voice intelligibility) or Music for the broader frequency range required for the high-fidelity reproduction of musical content. A convenient Mix Out XLR connector sends a post-EQ mix of both input channels to additional powered loudspeakers, for fast and easy system expansion.

The M10's trapezoidal enclosure is fabricated from high-density polypropylene and is ribbed extensively (externally and internally) to eliminate resonances and provide an attractive and durable cabinet finish. The symmetrical 43° side angles allow the loudspeaker to be conveniently used as a floor monitor. A recessed carrying handle on the top is provided for easy lifting and transport, while the dual-angle, pole-mount socket allows the loudspeaker to be mounted on straight poles or speaker stands, either vertically or raised higher and angled down to optimize audience coverage. A total of six M10 rigging points are provided on the top and bottom of the cabinet for secure vertical or horizontal suspension in permanent installations using M10 shoulder eyebolts.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. The two answers provided regarding whether the thumb support fits the M (Typ 240) appear at odds. Can someone clarify? Thank you.

A: The Leica M10 Thumb Support (Black) is not compatible with the Leica M (Typ 240) camera.

Q: 2. When you slide the Thumbs Support does it scratch the camera? or does it has rubber between the camera and the thumbs support?

A: YUP/its nicely protected and very helpful

Q: 3. Will this grip work on the Leica M8?

A: No, the M10 base is not the same size as the M8, M9 or the M type 240 or M-P type 240. They do have the same style grip for those previous bodies. Its a shame I traded mine in, I'd sell you my old one. Good luck!

Q: 4. Does it fit on leica M240 ???i wanna buy it but i got M240

A: It fits but it doesn't sit flush in the hot shoe, nor does it come all the way to the thumb dial.

Q: 5. What is the finish? Glossy or Mat?

A: It is black chrome (matte)

Q: 6. Will it fit Leica M262?

A: I had am M9 that I traded-in for my M 10 and I could not usemy M( grip . . . however, B&H gives you a solid 30-day returnpolicy, so, under ordinary circumstances, the worst outcomewould be a return of the grip. (Why no look-up 'grip for Leica262'?)

Q: 7. Can the m10 still fit into the holster when using the hand grip?

A: The Leica M10 Hand Grip can still fit in the holster, but not with the "Finger Loop" connected.

Q: 8. will this grip work on Leica M7? and what's the weight of it?

A: The Leica M10 Hand Grip is not compatible with the Leica M7 film camera. Unfortunately, Leica didn't make a grip for this camera.

Q: 9. Will this fit the m11? And is it the same color of the silver m11?

A: The Leica M10 Thumb Support (Silver) is compatible with the M11 and it is the same silver color.

Q: 10. Can you change the file name from the front 4.3" touchscreen panel when scanning to a USB drive? Is a filename change easy?

A: Yes, you can easily choose your own filter name from the touchscreen on the Epson RapidReceipt RR-600W Wireless Receipt Scanner. The process is described on page 93 of this user manual: https://bhpho.to/3U6Ncd2.

[600 W Peak ] I had experience with using the 12 and 15 inch version of these speakers earlier this year with a band I was playing in, and when the need arose for my jazz duo to play an outdoor concert, I got a pair of these. I auditioned them at home for a week, and found the sound to be expansive, clear, and full-range. I used them for the first time this past weekend at an outdoor fund-raiser concert, and they performed magnificently. For once, vocals and my partner's trumpet were clear and cut through the mix. I ported my piano and my backing tracks thru it as well, and everything sounded balanced and clean. This allowed us to use my amp/powered speaker as a monitor, so we had the best of both worlds here. I cannot recommend these speakers enough. They are extremely lightweight given their quality, which is a must for me, and while they were not cheap, they are a great value, costing less than comparable speakers of other, famous brands. The other speakers I considered were heavier and just as expensive, and I doubt they would have sounded any better. And I am considering getting a third one of these to use as a floor wedge monitor for larger venues and larger bands. I'm happy with these and if you need a larger-sized speaker, the 12 and 15 inch variety are also a best bet.

[Black] I purchased a second BR-10 to complete a PA system I use with a Fender guitar/Yamaha modeling amp combo. I get the sound I like and then let it rip. Clean, powerful and impressively responsive across the entire frequency range. Way more than enough for 1500 sq ft of audience (~200 people). Can switch to pure PA use without problems and nobody is going to gripe about this rig. Wish I had this setup when I started doing gigs.

[1x Each Side] I’m very happy to own these speakers. I’ve done several events with just the Bluetooth capabilities. Not only can you stream your music but also control all your audio sounds levels with app and to top it off, you can pair 2 speakers to run in stereo via Bluetooth. I have controlled my music, mics and speakers wirelessly from my iPhone/iPad. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on sound and it never fails that someone will come up to me to ask what brand speakers I’m using. Turbosound is not a well known commercial brand but don’t let that fool you. These provide excellent bass and mid/high sound. My only con is the weight but the sound will make you forget about that. For all the features ,well built and durability , they are well worth the price , seriously.

[Black] We are a church and needed speakers for outdoor events, parties, dancing, picnics for about 100 to 200 folks. I called a friend who happens to install home sound and video systems in high end homes, big dollar systems and asked him what I should get. He turned me on to QSC and narrowed it down to the CP12 series for our application. There were other speakers that did more stuff but my friend the audio expert said Get the tool that does the main job very well and not all the gingerbread, it will last a lot longer. I did and wow the speakers sound great!!!

[36.645 lb] I currently own a set of Mackie SRM 350 V3's, and I'm very happy with them. I'm a dj and I'm trying to downsize my system and make it more compact, but loud and not compromise the sound. So I've been using my Mackie's with my Yamaha DXS12 MKII sub, and it works great, but the spl's on the Mackie's we're insufficient for some of my larger venues. I decided to go with the DBR10's cause I've noticed the specs for the frequency response were close enough, but what caught my attention was the 129db max spl! So I bought a pair, great job on shipping time B&H, and once I hooked them up and began to crank them, I was blown away by the sound quality, but especially how loud and transparent they sounded! Very pristine and accurate sound like my RCF's, but not at RCF prices, lol! I've been djing 40 years and I've been thru many brands of speakers, these Yamaha DBR10's are now my favorite! Compact, loud, but very clear! They can be used without a sub for small venues and rock them! With my Yamaha sub, forget about it! They are a perfect match, and they all fit in my trunk! I highly recommend them!

[1x Each Side] I've had a pair of these for a few years now. They work very well as stage monitors. I use mine primarily as a monitor for my keyboards when performing. There is a multi-position switch that changes the EQ depending on the listening mode, but I usually leave it in Stage Monitor mode.

Inputs are combination XLR / 1/4 TRS jacks. However, the daisy-chain connection to another monitor is XLR only - not 1/4 TRS, which is a pain in the neck sometimes. And the volume setting on the first monitor determines the maximum volume setting on any daisy-chained monitors.

Overall, a very rugged monitor that has been dropped a few times and taken its share of abuse, but has never failed me. And it's a lot smaller and lighter than comparable stage wedges. To make sure I never lose the power cord, I have caribiners on the handle and the AC cord that I just snap together when transporting it.

B&H occasionally has sales on these and also bundles (stand and XLR cable) - jump on those sales when available!

[36.645 lb] This speaker rocks. It's really loud, made from very great materials and super easy to setup and use. Because it's plastic, it's not heavy, so great for gigging or DJ events. Once again, Mackie is awesome. For the price, $399 on sale, it's amazing. Two of these would make an awesome DJ setup as well.
