This Westcott X-Drop Pro Wrinkle-Resistant Backdrop measures 8 x 13' and is Chroma-Key green so you can drop in the background of your choice in post production. Use an exotic locale, or download one of the 25 included CloudKO Lite Green Screen Extractions.

The backdrop is resistant to creases, machine washable, and reflection free. Made from 100% polyester material, it can be folded for transport to your next shoot. A fabric drawstring bag matches the backdrop color for easy identification. It has five built-in grommets and a pole pocket for easy mounting to the separately available X-Drop background stand.

A: Yes, currently the Impact Chroma Muslin Background (Chroma Green, 10 x 12') retails at $68.95.

Q: 2. Is muslin fire resistant?

A: The Chroma Sheet Background - 10 x 12' (Chroma Green) is not fire resistant.

Q: 3. Do these wrinkle on folding?

A: In my experience, they do wrinkle when folded. However, I have only left them folded at any given time for longer than 1 month, So I am not sure if short periods of time would yield different results. A steamer took them right out though.

Q: 4. What stand works best with this if I don't want to risk mounting it on the ceiling?

A: This should be mounted to a wall or ceiling. It is not designed to be used with stands.

Q: 5. Can I find this, or a product of the same dimensions in blue?

A: Unfortunately, the Angler Chroma Green Retractable Background (7 x 10') (or background with a similar design) is not available in blue. The closest option would be to purchase a blue background such as the Studio Dynamics Canvas Background, Lightstand Mount - 7x9' - Chroma Key Blue, B&H # ST79LCHRMB, or the Studio Dynamics Canvas Background, Lightstand Mount - 8x10' - Chroma Key Blue, B&H # ST810LCHRMB. However, the two options listed above are not self-supporting and would require you to purchase a separate light stand to support the setup.

Q: 6. Is the 'white; Chroma Green' two sheets, or white on one side and green on the back?

A: The Impact Background System Kit with 10x24' White and Chroma Green Muslins includes two separate backgrounds, one is green and one is white. The green background is the Impact Chroma Muslin Background (Chroma Green, 10 x 24'), B&H # IMBGCG1024, and the white background is the Impact Muslin Background (White, 10 x 24'), B&H # IMBGW1024.

Q: 7. When the screen is opened and extended on the frame, what are the dimensions of the floor space it occupies? Especially looking for how far behind the screen do the supporting legs extend?

A: Approximately 31/2"

Q: 8. Has anybody noticed any Moire issues with this backdrop? I have a D800/E and I suspect it might cause moire.

A: With a plain paper or vinyl surface, there should be no moire issues with the Nikon 800E. It could very well have issues if the material was muslin. That being said, the 800E is a very specific use camera and moire can easily show up in repeat pattern surfaces and often surprising places as you know. In the end, it is our opinion that this vinyl background should not cause moire issues with the Nikon 800E.

Q: 9. Does this come with the materials needed to mount to a classroom wall?

A: Yes, the Angler Chroma Green Retractable Background (6.9 x 9.9') comes with material to attach to a wall. Note depending on the wall and beams you might need to get additional screws.

Q: 10. How portable is this kit? What are the dimensions? Weight? I will be travelling mostly by subway, so it is VERY important to know exactly how big this kit is packed. Thank you!

A: I just weighed mine and it's 15 pounds. The case is 4 feet long and about 10 inches square.

[Polyester] This is my second Westcott chromakey backdrop. I use these for youth sports photography. This is a production operation with as many as 100 portraits at a time, and we have to have a background that not only delivers consistant, clean color but also can withstand being transported and set up daily. Westcott delivers on both counts. It's heavy enough that it will block out lights (and even an open door to daylight) from behind, and sturdy enough to keep up with daily wear and tear. My only complaint is that at 9'x10', it's a little small for the larger kids (especially HS basketball players). My other backdrops are 10'x12', and that extra foot or two makes a difference.Overall though, this backdrop is well worth the money. 5

[5] Heavy duty screen fabric. Some initial packaging wrinkles, but they fell out easily. Great product for the money and miles above the cheaper options. 5

[2.52 lb] The problem with Green and Blue screens is usually not wrinkles at all. It is shine and light spill from the screen fabric to your product or persons. The material on this is more light absorbing and light deadening pretty much eliminating the lighting feedback or spill completely. A lot of people think that putting more and more light on the screen solves the problems when in reality it compounds the problem. With the Wescott you only need a kiss of light to do the job and to do the job well. The material they use is much closer to a felt rather than a bargain cloth which usually has a built in sheen to it. And that sheen becomes your problem. The Wescott is more like a microfiber cloth that deadens the light that bounces back. The bigger surprise is you can take it right out of the included travel bag all crumpled up, put it in the drier at lowest heat setting for 10 minutes and the wrinkles are 90 percent GONE!! Unless you are using this and throwing them away, I would recommend this far and above over the other screens made with plain fabrics. Thumbs up! Peter 5

[Yes] The color is not as vibrant or saturated as my other green screen options. However, there is less reflected light or spill around the edges of the foreground objects. 5

[Polyester] The size is great, the material is great, it absorbs light, it isn't too bad on color cast for nearby subjects if they are not too close and it doesn't mark up when people stand on it. The wrinkle resistant part is a little suspect, but it works great. I throw it in the dryer for a few minutes to release wrinkles from storage. 5
