It gives the perfect lighting to enhance the clarity of my videos and pictures with the 450E powerful light. The directions are user friendly and easy to follow. I love the 3 different options to control the light with my favorite being the phone app. All the parts conveniently come in a professional soft, grey carrying case. I would highly recommend this product.

Luminous exceptional. Super quiet no noise bleed onto videos. Sure damping and locking plugs for a secure connection. Sleek and professional design. Light out put is brilliant however it stays cool . It can be used with portable power stations making it very convenient for various occasions. It is very easy to set up and use. It is small , easy and very efficient with a brilliant light output. I.have a friend that is a professional photographer and she was extremely impressed with this item.

[11.175 lb] First, let me say that this CL60R is an incredible light. I am loving it. I am amazed by the things it can do, given the fact that it's so small and light. I think it weighs a little over 1 lb., but there's so much built into this light,
and it is well worth the cost. I only bought one because, even though I watched some online reviews and read up on it before buying one, I was still a little uncertain if it really was all it was stated to be. But after using it for about a month, I can fully be confident in posting an honest and detailed review now.

I was genuinely shocked to see how bright it is - and how quiet it is. Whisper quiet, and even though I used it continuously for more than an hour, it never got hot or felt overheated. Since it's an RGB light, the colors that it produces are very vivid. And it has several built-in effects, including mimicking a campfire, police car, lightning, among many others. I haven't used all the effects yet, but the aforementioned effects created awesome images and videos.

The slotted design makes these stackable, so I'm really
excited to order more and create different light and color patterns. I have seen some videos online, and I think you can attach up to 10 lights together. From what I saw, it looks very cool, so I may try something
similar. I haven't used the app that's available for it yet, mainly because it's so easy to use by just using the
buttons on the back of the CL60R - but I will probably download the app and use it when I buy more lights.

Overall, there is really nothing negative about this light
that I can think of. The size, weight, power, colors and price make this a no-brainer. I can say that it's almost certain that I will be buying more.

[Yes] This is a nice piece of gear! Very powerful. I did a test if you're wondering how strong it is. See results below. Disclaimer: I'm not Gerald Undone.
First the good. Very bright! Blindingly bright. Like the sun. Feels stout. Love the fluid head it comes with. Feels very secure. They copied (I think, see results) the Godox reflector and it rocks. Did I mention it's really bright?
The less than perfect. Once the thing is up in the air you need to use the remote. Sold separately. This adds cables and, all in all, it's a bit of a mess of cables. It's heavy with the fluid head attached. Not a problem for me but be aware.
For this test pointed the lights at a white screen from 4 feet away. All lights were at 100%. Camera was FX6 with a Ninja V monitor. Settings were 24fps, f2.8, 180 shutter, ISO 800 Slog3, 4K all I.
I adjusted the ND to get to 100 IRE. The SmallRig RC450D came in at 2 full stops or more brighter than the VL150 and Genaray.

[Yes] This little light packs quite a punch for such a little thing, and for a reasonable price, too. Only used two times so far, but super easy and seem pretty solid. Haven't ganged these together, yet, to make a more powerful setup and waiting on my battery plate. These lights work with NP-F batteries which I've already invested in, WIN! Excited to use these on my upcoming production.

[Bowens S] Smallrig has really created something amazing here. Who knew a company known for their camera rigs would create some of the best COB tech on the market.

The RC 450d (and b) lights rival their Aputure 600 competition in brightness while drawing 150-220w less power draw.

Having used both on set, I prefer the Smallrig RC450d for its quickness of setup, power efficiently and ease of use. It's also smaller, easier to transport and more affordable.

If you need weather proofing, you'll need to invest the extra money on an Aputure 600d pro, but aside from that, I recommend this unit by a long shot.
