A: Use a bit of mineral oil or WD-40. The spring tension will loosen wth time. There is no tensino adjustment.

Q: 6. Is this product recommended for ‘Rode Podmic’?

A: You can utilize this studio arm, but not the shockmount. The Rode Podmic has it's own mic holder, and is too wide to fit into the shock mount included with this boom arm. That being said, it is still a good value.

Q: 7. Can this be used to mount a small camera? What's the weight capacity of this arm?

A: You would need a little bit more depth than 1" to mount the clamp securely.

Q: 10. How much weight can this hold? I'm looking to boom this from the ceiling with a Rode NTG3 attached to it and hoping that my NTG3 rig will hold fine on this. Also, hoping to mount this to the ceiling t-bar/tile instead of a typical desk. Any answers to that would be appreciated. Thanks!

A: Mounting will not be an issue in your case and the arm should be able to handle up to about 2 lbs with no problem.

[Table Clamp] This mic is simple to setup and works amazing out of the box. Voice sounds natural without any editing or filters, though adding a little bass helped, it was unnecessary. Post-production was minimal, no strange background noises (even cherry mx blue switches on the keyboard) 5

[Table Clamp] I moved away from the all in one headset solutions for my PC mostly due to quality differences. This mic setup has shocked people in my online community with it's ability to come through much better, it does a solid job with actual capture quality that I've not had in anything from corsair in the past. I highly suggest pairing this with a Sennheiser Momentum 4 wireless & then a Creative BT-W4 dongle for your pc & with that setup you'll be floored. I've got atmos, proper clarity, long lifespans & modular replacibility for the future by separating the pieces into individual purchases. The streaming set with the boom arm makes the mic so much better as I can just swivel it 180 away from me & it's out of sight & out of mind until I need to use it. 5

[Table Clamp] I was flatfooted for so long on deciding what USB mic to get. I upgraded from a Blue Snowball which was getting old. Lots of choices out there nowadays with Rode, Blue, Samson, etc. Senheiser has always made quality products and this is no exception. Out of the box, I plugged it in and it was game on. By the way I plugged it into a MBP M1. I use it for Zoom and Teams calls with customers and colleagues. Everyone has told me the voice quality is great. All the controls are well designed and placed. The only minor glitch is I wished the mic arm was a bit longer but it’s so minor I dont know why I’m mentioning it unless you really need a long arm, you might consider a 3rd party arm, but don’t pass up the mic. 5
