This Rapid Power adapter can output a maximum of 100W, but individual ports and different combinations can change how much power is available to your devices. Based on which ports you use, you can expect the following:

  • One device in top USB-C port gets up to 100W
  • One device into lower USB-C port gets up to 18W
  • One device in either USB-A port gets up to 12W
  • One device in each USB-A port shares up to 17W
  • With all four ports used, the top USB-C gets 65W, the bottom USB-C gets 18W, and both USB-A share up to 17W

Connected devices are automatically detected and supplied with a proper amount of power for safer charging.

Devices are protected during charging with built-in circuitry that protects against over-current, over-voltage, over-temperature, and short circuits.

You can use this charger almost anywhere as the two-prong plug conveniently folds flat for easier storage in your backpack or bag.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will the d tap charger for the Anton Bauer Titan battery pack charge this IDX?

A: Yes, Dtap chargers would charge this IDX battery. One D-Tap output and one USB-C PD port can power additional camera accessories or charge the battery once depleted.

[100 W] I got the Anker 737 and this and I can charge it as fast as I can discharge it. Never run out of power!

[100 W] Unfortunately DJI no longer includes a charger (Air 3) so I researched for a good, fast charger. This works very well.

[6.6' / 2 m] One of the most challenging things about being a traveling documentary filmmaker is finding places to charge all of your gear at night. This charger takes care of that in one small package. I hook up my phone, MC lights, camera batteries, pretty much everything to it and can get everything charged at once.

[100 W] Works as expected with my 16 inch MacBook pro from 2019. I keep it in my bag so that if I forget the original adapter I have something that works just as well. I have had good experience with Satechi products and would recommend the quality as well.

[100 W] The charging cable is high quality, seems like it would take a lot of use to wear this out.

[100 W] I got this as a backup charger to my travel charger for my M1 Macbook Pro while it was on special for $39.

To be honest I wasn't expecting it to work, but it does, and works very well - I've been using it this entire trip and very happily. My travel charger, meanwhile, is charging other devices....

Definite recommend.

[100 W] Does everything it says on the tin and was compatible with all of the devices I needed it to work with. Good construction, doesn't get too warm under heavy load, and comes with a FANTASTIC quality (and grounded!) mains cord.

Don't let the lack of a USB-IF certification deter you - the certification process and requirements for multi-port chargers is outdated and convoluted, so most manufacturers of modern high-watt adapters don't bother trying. Most importantly, it IS ETL certified and thus compliant with North American safety standards!

Don't expect the wimpy little vertical base to hold it in place without help from adhesive,
especially if you're using thicker cables for higher charging current. This didn't apply to my case because I intend to mount it under my desk with dual-lock strips, but still worth mentioning.

Also, it sometimes takes a few seconds to establish the PD handshake (especially on the high watt ports 1 and 2) but this is completely normal even though it's a bit longer than many other PD sources. For what it's worth, this implies that their protection and PD negotiation logic is conservative and prioritizes safety over activating the port immediately.

Although this is far from exhaustive and I don't have any devices over 65W to test with, this was my test gauntlet as some of these (especially the Switch) simply do not work with Power Delivery that's not correctly implemented:
- 65W (19v) Dell Inspiron (laptop)
- 45W (15v) Nintendo Switch Lite
- 45W (15v) Steam Deck OLED
- 18W (9v) Samsung Galaxy S5e (tablet)
- 15W (5v) Pinebook Pro (laptop)
