Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What max size laptop will fit in this bag?

A: This bag has section for a tablet but you could probably fit a 13" laptop.

Q: 2. No hood available from Nikon, is one not needed? How bad is glare and reduced contrast when key light is in front/side of camera? Note front glass bulbs out. Nano coating can only do so much, no? Any success in using flags in lieu of a hood? Or is lack of a hood not a concern with this lens?

A: There is a good reason why there are no hoods for very wide lenses; to wit, a hood that actually protects the lens from flare is also visible in the frame. My rule of thumb to make sure no light is flaring or causing ghosts on my lens is this: From moderately wide to tele lens length, I use lens hoods, or matte boxes or adjustable sunshades on the camera to block the spurious light. However, on very wide lenses, the flare has to be flagged at the light source that is causing the problem. Even outside and it is the sun hitting the lens, use a grip flag on a stand to stop the direct light of the sun. Do not have such equipment? Then have a friend hold any rectangular object so the the flare from the sun is blocked. How to know it is working? Make sure the shadow of the flag covers the front element of the lens. Nikkor lenses are among the finest in the world. The lens coatings on this lens are no less than that. You can be sure that for all but the most direct specular light rays, light hitting this lens will be flare and ghost free.

Q: 3. When not being used in either tilt / shift mode (and settings for both zeroed out ), I assume that this lens can essentially be used as a prime manual-focus rectilinear 19mm F4.0 lens with fantastic optics, correct?

A: Absolutely outstanding results

Q: 4. Can the aperture be set with the camera like the other Nikon tilt-shift lenses?

A: Yes, it can, just use A mode on the camera.

Q: 5. Will the Tamrac Stratus 21 hold a Nikon D7500 with a Sigma 150-600mm lens attached and leave room for other small lenses?

A: Yes you can hold your D7500 and a Sigma 150-600mm in this bag. You would just need to rearrange the dividers.

Q: 6. Will this bag hold the following: Nikon D7200 with battery grip and 18-140mm attached; Nikon 70-300mm, Speedlite SB-500, and a Sigma 150-600mm, detached and laying down? (The Sigma is 4 3/4 x 11 ).

A: I have it and I don't think all that equipment will fit. Try a bigger size.

Q: 7. What filter holder kit can be used with this lens?

A: Unfortunately, at this time, we have no filters or filter holders that are compatible for use with the Nikon PC NIKKOR 19mm f/4E ED lens.

Q: 8. when this lens will be available to buy?

A: Unfortunately, we do not have an estimated arrival date for the Nikon PC NIKKOR 19mm f/4E ED Tilt-Shift Lens at this time. If you havent already, you could choose the Request Stock Alert option on the lenss page on our site. We would then send you an email when the lens came into stock. That being said, we are accepting preorders on the lens at this time.

Q: 9. Other than the ones shown in photos, How many dividers come with this bag?

A: There are 9 dividers in total for the Tamrac Stratus 21 Shoulder Camera Bag.

Q: 10. Are there any limitations in using the lens on the Nikon d850?

A: I asked Nikon technical support the same question. Their reply: there are no horizontal or vertical shift limitations when using the Nikkor 19mm PCE lens on a D850.

[5.9" / 15 cm] It's an Excellent, basic, minimal home inspection thermal camera. The fluke software improves the image over better resolution cameras of other manufacturers. But it has limitations without focus and minimal resolution. We purchased as an inexpensive additional thermal for my inspection company. It's 5 stars for its intended purposes. But it has limited resolution. It's not a 3,000 dollar camera. But at 1 k it was not intended to be.

[8.7 Hz] I purchased the FLIR one Pro LT and have been using it for a couple of days in my house. I mainly got it to inspect the parts of my house where it's hottest/coldest (season dependent) and has already helped me identify the culprit areas that I'm now getting insulation installed to mitigate.

The only thing I'd like to see added to the mobile app, iOS in my case, is that the thermal range bar is exported when an image is was taken to add further add context to the image. People that are shown the images always ask what the range of colors means.

[12 µ] Pro level build quality at a very reasonable price. I use it for power amplifier diagnostics, but it seems to have unlimited uses. Very well designed and useful device.

[7.5-14 µ] Product works as advertised. Tests Cat 5e and 6 cables for proper pinout reliably. Also generates a tone to detect remotely with included probe.

[12 µ] This is one of the best and most versatile supports on the market. Managing lens changes and all the ways you have to lock them down to exist in a full cine workflow can be a chore. Having a support that is not only well made but has a design that allows it to be a solid option for both 19 and 15mm rod standards AND having accessories and configurations that allow photo and cine lenses of any size that I have thrown at it, is VERY valuable.

[USB] There is really not much of a learning curve here. You simply slide the center piece in, slide the whole assembly on your rails, raise the center piece to your desired height and lock it down. That's it. It is sturdy and does not wobble. Being both 19mm and 15mm compatible makes it even more useful and versatile.
