A: Hi, assuming MIJ means Made In Japan - I think Pentax now produce their lens in Vietnam, that said, the FA series are superb quality.Mine (Vietnam) is flawless.The specs are supposed to be the same. It's ridiculously sharp even wide open, and i'm not talking about just the center of the image. It's very reliable as there's no internal motor and the construction is all metal. AF is also spot on, so I highly recommend it, especially for low-light shooting!
