Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Work on Tokina 11-16

A: Yes, the Sensei PRO 77mm Wide Angle Aluminum Lens Hood will work with the Tokina atx-i 11-16mm f/2.8 CF Lens.

Q: 2. Will these work for Canon RF 50mm F1.2 lens?

A: Yes, it is compatible with the Canon 50mm 1.2.

Q: 3. Can you insert this filter into an MC11 adapter as well? The photos look similar size/shape, trying to find 2 stop ND for MC11.

A: Unfortunately, the Aurora-Aperture Adapter Mount Format PowerND 0.6 Filter for Sigma MC-21 Lens Mount Adapter (2-Stop) is not compatible with the MC11 adapter. For that adapter we don't have a 2 stop option. The least density we have is this 6 stops filter. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1496749-REG

Q: 4. Does the turntable have a "dumb" input or output so that either it can trigger unsupported cameras (signal gets put into a pocket wizard that transmits to a camera connected to another pocketwizard) or unsupported cameras can trigger it (eg: rotate to next position after some delay after seeing flash x-sync signal)? I would like to use this with higher end medium format cameras.

A: As per the manufacturer, their turntables have a shutter release cable that can attach to any cameras shutter release cable input. This will allow the user to select the number of images they would like to capture and the turntable will give the camera the signal to capture.

Q: 5. What is the outer diameter of the 77mm lens hood? Have lens caps which cover 80mm fronts.

A: 79mm outside-76mm inside

Q: 6. will this work on nikon 24-120 full frame lens?

A: Sensei PRO 77mm Wide Angle Aluminum Lens Hood BH #SELHMW77 should work on Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens. For a Nikon branded hood, Nikon HB-102 Lens Hood BH #NIHB102 is made for the NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens.

Q: 7. Would this work with the Meike 50mm T2.1 S35 lens? I need a replacement for the original lens hood.

A: Meike 50mm T2.1 Super 35 Cine Prime Lens has a 77mm front thread, therefore you can thread in the Sensei PRO 77mm Aluminum Lens Hood on your lens.

Q: 8. Will this hood (the short version) works with 16-55 APS-C zoom ? Thanks in advance

A: The Heliopan 77mm short lens hood will certainly fit your Canon 16-55 f/2.8 APS-C zoom, however you will get severe vignetting in the shorter focal lengths (from 16 to about 30mm). I would recommend the Sensei 77mm wide-angle metal lens hood instead (B&H #SELHMW77). Both hoods offer excellent protection for your expensive lens; aluminum is soft and thus absorbs a lot of force by deforming if the lens is accidentally bumped against a concrete wall or dropped.

Q: 9. Will this rotate standalone without a computer connected? Basically to record objects rotating for video?

A: The PhotoCapture 360M will not rotate standalone. It requires the included software to turn. It does come with the ability to record, compress, edit and save product videos. In video capture mode, the camera and turntable features are synchronized and users can create videos that spin 360, rotate a specific number of degrees or rock back and forth never showing the back of the product. All in one.

Q: 10. What are the lengths of the 77mm hoods in both long version and short version?

A: 47mm&22mm

[Aluminum] The Okko 72mm Variable Neutral Density Filter (1 to 9 Stop) works smoothly and does not shift the colors.

[Solid ND] This is a good filter for the money which is important as no landscape photographer should go outside without a neutral density filter or two. The .6 is a good choice if you want to carry just one. Great for general daylight use and perfect for waterfalls; allows you to use a slower shutter speed for that silky water look.

[77 mm] as advertised and is a great value for the money.

[Solid ND] Use for waterfall photography where I need to use a long exposure in daylight. Works great, especially when you have an assortment of different ND filter strengths to work with. However, I have noticed on my 77mm Hoya NDs that the mounting clip inside the ring is beginning to separate and the glass is now loose. That might have happened during exposure to hot sunlight in the summer months. Also, be aware that you cannot use your normal lens cleaner to clean these filters (as stated on the filter case, but I inadvertently used the cleaner and it streaks the filters really badly!). Still, used properly, these are a must-have in your camera bag!

[Solid ND] The Hoya 67mm ND 0.6 filter is a must have filter for anyone shooting landscape photography. When the sun in shining bright, the filter will limit the amount of light passing through the aperture by about 2 stops, without any loss of clarity or color. It will also allow you to stop down without sacrificing shutter speed. A terrific lens with a very resonable price tag, I would strongly recommend it to my friends.
