[4:3] We bought these back in Feb of 2011 for our TV Studio Cameras. They are great!! Nice big text ... easy to read. The software installs on any PC and works great. Only suggestion I have is that they improve the reverse speed on the shuttle pro controller. Sometimes you need to back the text up quickly and it doesn't have a fast speed. Other than this it is a great package.

[Metal] A great little USB controller that works very well for controlling an Autocue teleprompter.

[Yes] I am a one-man-band in-house for a software company, and I use this to shoot product owners talking about the services our company offers.It is easy to set up, it works flawlessly, and it gives a professional look to in-house production values. Since the talent doesn't see the camera, it is also less intimidating to those who are not used to being in front of a camera, allowing for the capture of better footage.Combined with Teleprompter+ for the iPad and using the iPhone as a remote control, this system provides excellent value and ease-of-use for a beginning teleprompter system. I like being able to edit the script on the fly and not having to have a bunch of wires and extra computers to drag around to different shoot locations. This has definitely helped to up our game for producing quality videos to promote what we do.If you have a smaller camera or DSLR and you want to shoot wide, I'd recommend getting the single-column camera riser piece, Autocue item number MT-SSP/HH, which is not listed as an accessory on B&H's or Autocue's sites at the time of this review, but is shown in the product brochure. I spoke with a sales rep for Autocue about how this should either be included in the kit as shown in the product literature, or at least listed as an available accessory.The rep was responsive, glad to hear the feedback, and mailed a riser to me after saying that he had brought my feedback to the attention of his managers, and that changes were being made. ... a good product makes this easy for me to recommend.

[5 VDC at 2 A] Using it with smaller / medium size camcorder, and works like a charm. It even comes with a small riser plate to compensate the smaller side of camera which allow them to shoot from the middle of screen instead of the bottom. Great stuff and good value. Easy to setup!

[1000:1] The inventor of this device never knew what he or she has done for the profession, if you want it cleaner, better and professional looking...think teleprompter!!!

[5 VDC at 2 A] I have tried a lot of those promoters in the past and this one is finally working exactly as I expected. I suggest to use the app Power Prompter 2 which is so easy to use. Same as for prompter, I have tried many many solutions and this software is just the best.

[4:3] THe teleprompter is an outstanding device for as professional as possible. I used it many times for TV host and for myself. However, there is one thing I must point out, CARE. You must take care of it and you must be careful when moving it should it not be on a stand of its own. It is awkward and sometimes very heavy. Sometimes there are wires that we forget to tie up, such as myself, and yes it went over to break the reflective glass, I was very lucky, $ replaced the glass. So, have fun use it well and yes, there is a lot of work out there for the teleprompter...

[30 W] We are a TV station and usually use the higher end teleprompter solutions. However, for this job we needed a cheaper solution for use at one of our remote bureaus. If you need it to talk with a newsroom computer system like iNews this is not for you. If you are OK with exporting from your newsroom system and then loading it into the prompter then this will be fine. The quality of the monitor is low to average but it works fine. The glass and hood are good. A good choice if you need a fairly low coast prompting solution.
