Ideally suited for portable and fixed music and speech sound-reinforcement applications, the Turbosound iX15 is a portable 15" two-way powered loudspeaker featuring Kark Teknik DSP and Bluetooth audio/control. The loudspeaker includes two independent input channels, a two-band master EQ (Bass, Treble), and a Mix Out for connecting additional powered loudspeakers for easy system expansion. The innovative Klark Teknik DSP controls the built-in 3-channel digital mixer via a single-knob user interface, and provides comprehensive wireless remote control via a dedicated app for iPhone/iPad.

The 1000W Class-D and Class-AB amplifiers deliver 1000W to the 15" high-excursion woofer and 1" titanium dome compression driver, which combine for a frequency response of 45 Hz to 20 kHz (±3 dB) and a maximum SPL of 126 dB, which ensures the highest-quality low end as well as extended high-frequency reproduction and articulate midrange reproduction. The iX15 is fitted with a dual-angle pole-mount socket, allowing it to be polemounted straight on, or raised higher and angled downwards to optimize audience coverage. The lightweight fiberglass-reinforced composite enclosure is fitted with a rugged powder coated perforated steel mesh grille.

Take total control of the iX15 directly from your iPhone or iPad. This amazing feature lets you adjust all settings from either the listening area or the stage, for the perfect sound every time. The speakers are designed for paging and announcements rather than for music. You would be better off with something like the Yamaha NS-AW294 Outdoor Speakers - Pair (B&H # YANSAW294BL) or Polk Audio Atrium4 All-Weather Indoor/Outdoor Speakers - Pair (B&H # POAM4085BLK) which will connect directly to your stereo receiver using standard speaker wire. They will sound much better for music and do a good job of projecting the sound.

[126 dB (Peak)] From a small band perspective, these are loud and clear. I wish there was a bluetooth off switch though. The only way to mute bluetooth seems to be with the app. Once it is connected to a device using the app at least it doesn't seem to be able to connect to another device usuing the app. ie. someone hijacking your speakers. The bluetooth and speaker linking does work well. The audio is very clear, and they are pretty loud. For a sub $500 40lb cabinet made out of plastic it sounds good. Certainly good enough for small gigs. As far as the voicing options, live or monitor sounds best to me using an analog mixer with no other outboard gear. Overall I think this a great buy at this price point. You will want some kind of cover or bag though, they did away this the screen and went with control knobs which is fine, but I feel like they could be a little more vulnerable to me. 5

[Black] I’m very happy to own these speakers. I’ve done several events with just the Bluetooth capabilities. Not only can you stream your music but also control all your audio sounds levels with app and to top it off, you can pair 2 speakers to run in stereo via Bluetooth. I have controlled my music, mics and speakers wirelessly from my iPhone/iPad. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on sound and it never fails that someone will come up to me to ask what brand speakers I’m using. Turbosound is not a well known commercial brand but don’t let that fool you. These provide excellent bass and mid/high sound. My only con is the weight but the sound will make you forget about that. For all the features ,well built and durability , they are well worth the price , seriously. 5

[+22 dBu ] I've been working in live professional audio for over 20 years. I can say hands down these units are the best (small/medium) PA. I work at a university and we own 2 of the 3000 and one of the 1000 units. These have served 90% of all our needs. Just last weekend I ran the pair of 3000 for about 350 in a ballroom for our new student orientation and ran them hard ( Hard House, EDM and Hip Hop. They have built in limiters that help protect the drivers, but I did not even have to run them to limit. The coverage / intelligibility were fantastic for spoken word. Great units for the price and I only need to take one trip in the van to move the whole PA. I will be ordering 2 more. Well done Turbosound for these fantastic units.good for Pro, church, or school. CON: Low end is lacking for our application, I would have prefered our pair of dual 18" subs, but the pair of 12" subs per side worked OK. 5

[Black] Purchased a pair of these with all custom bags. Replacing my 'standard' sound system of Mackie SWA 18"+ SRM 12" 2-way system. Absolutely loved using them and happy i upgraded. Operation: I clocked myself at 46 seconds to disassemble the entire column and put all components in the cases/bags including sub. I can carry the sub though its not very mobile friendly without dolly. Erects in similar amount of time and much easier on the eyes. Audio: Compared them with Bose, EV, RCF, and Fender. Out of the group the RCF was the best sounding overall. The Turbosounds sounded better than the rest but the dual 12" sub did outperform the single sub on the RCF 12, at least for me. Aesthetically it was nicer than the RCF but the EV evolve looked the nicest and was the easiest to transport. Would highly recommend. Happy to have joined the Turbosound family. 5

[Active 2-Way] This speaker rocks. It's really loud, made from very great materials and super easy to setup and use. Because it's plastic, it's not heavy, so great for gigging or DJ events. Once again, Mackie is awesome. For the price, $399 on sale, it's amazing. Two of these would make an awesome DJ setup as well. 5
