The Bright Tangerine LeftField 3 Baseplate for RED KOMODOfrom Bright Tangerine LeftField 3 Baseplate for RED KOMODOcombines with different interchangeable Bright Tangerine riser blocks and dovetail plates for compatibility with multiple different cameras, tripods, and gimbals. The optional riser blocks provide the correct optical height for each camera and can be swapped in as needed.

The LeftField 3 Baseplate Core attaches to any ARRI-standard dovetail or the Bright Tangerine Left Field ARRI-Style Dovetail Plate. Using Bright Tangerine's Open•Up quick release system, it allows you to quickly switch between shoulder rigs, tripods, gimbals, and other camera supports such as the KASBAH shoulder pad. It also features a sliding, locking base that helps achieve optimal balance wherever you mount it.

The Baseplate Core provides front and rear 15mm LWS rod mounts for attaching accessories. Other LeftField components, such as side plates, supports, and grips can be attached to dedicated mounting threads to build up a full cage.

A: Hello if you have the 143mm back misfit then yes if you have the 114mm back misfit no.

Q: 3. Whic battery charger works with the red volt battery?

Q: 4. Do I need to buy two filter holders if I want to be able to use the mattebox with filters or can I attach them directly to the mattebox?

A: From the B&H Overview regarding this matte box: You can securely insert up to two 4x4 , 4x5.65 , or a combination of those filters directly into the matte box without using a filter tray. A spring-loaded clamp at the top of the matte box secures the filters so they will not fall out unexpectedly.

Q: 5. How does this compare to the lightweight matte boxes from small rig or tilta in terms of quality, function, ease of use?

A: The differences are its machined from one piece of Aluminium and hard anodised making it extreme strong and light. you do not get the same strength when you use moulded plastic or cast metal. A: The Misfit Atom does not have dedicated trays so will not be able to hold the geared polariser, if you need to use this i would recommend the Misfit

Can be used with the Outrigger Handle so run/stop can be utilized via a Nucleus-M style system or on-camera by the Camera Operator via Outrigger Handle. Best for gimbal usage to keep things very compact for run/stop capability. Arguably the best piece of kit to have for Komodo users. 5

[0.725 lb] I bought this for when my Komodo is on a gimbal and I can use my tilta nucleus to run/stop it. I like the fact that in a rush when switching setups I can just mount the outrigger handle on top and use that. Initially I didn't like how it looked/fit but in the end it's just for gimbal use and I think it works good for what it is. Would recommend. 5

[0.725 lb] First camera cage system from BT and it's awesome. I bought the original Kasbah system alongside the Misfit kick back in the day and was impressed by the functionality, quality, and their efforts to keep things light weight while still strong/solid. When it came time to get a cage for the Burano, I knew I wanted to try BT over the other options that were first to market apon its launch. The side rails connecting top and bottom inspire confidence for mounting things pretty much anywhere on the rig. The sliding top plate is slick, I'm getting another one for quick swaps to my movi alongside a BUD plate for the bottom. The D handle is solid and comfy. Paired with my Kasbah shoulder rig, its the quickest to build and comfiest to shoulder all day compared to other systems I've tried/built in my AC days. You won't regret it! Also the customer service is TOP with BT. They just called me within 15 mins to get clarification on a support email I sent regarding plate compatibility. Who does that these days?! 5

[0.725 lb] Works great with my V-Raptor s35!! At first it wasn't working for me. After several months of trouble shooting, my brand new RED V-Raptor s35 came with a defective chip. I sent it in and they replaced it. Surprisingly, this seems to be not uncommon from what I can tell from online inquiries. In sum, if it doesn't work for you, it's probably RED..... 5

[Baseplate] You don't know how much you're missing from this simple design! It adds so many attachment points that are missing from ALL cage designs. It also provides a space between the camera body and the plate where cables can be isolated without the need of ties. It takes seconds to put on and off. BT have nailed it with not only this, but their entire line of Komodo products! I also own the cage with R/S top peice. Couldn't be happier. 5

[ARRI Dovetail] I have this R/S top plate on my Komodo as well as on my V-Raptor. On the Komodo I have the Mutiny Bolt-On V2 Micro record button connected to it, and on the Raptor I would use it to connect my Tilta right side handle with R/S button. Bright Tangerine is marketing this product as a Run/Stop Plate for Red Komodo, but works on the Red V-Raptor as well, without any issues. 5

[ARRI Dovetail] Is it expensive? Yes. It is flawless and perfect? Yes. I just love everything about it. My only maybe SLIGHT complaint, is I wish it had some Rosette mounts in this kit, but I easily added the BT side plate to finish it out! 5

[Baseplate] I had originally bought the standard komodo baseplate from Bright Tangerine but realized it only had one screw and would twist on the camera showing off alignment of my matte box etc. This DJI version has tabs that fit into the base of the komodo and prevent twisting. It does cost more but is so much better. 5

[ARRI Dovetail] Super light weight. It's thin, but strong. I've had two of these. The first one got bent on the account of the camera being knocked over. It took most of the impact (thankfully) and was bent. I ordered a second one to replace it. If I had not had this on the side of my Komodo it would have been damaged. I use it to mount a grip with the rosette as well as my timecode box. There are plenty of mounting options. I also run cables on the back side of it with a few sprigs to help with cable management. Bright Tangerine is the way to go when building a Komodo out. 5
