Modular synthesizer enthusiasts looking for an advanced VCA with multiple channels in a compact form factor will be impressed with the erica synths Black Quad VCA 2, a 4-channel Eurorack VCA module with a custom designed preemphasis / de-emphasis circuit that preserves all the nuances of the original signal.

Each independent channel includes a CV input, manual level adjustment, selectable linear/logarithmic response, and a signal-level indicator. The four outputs combine signals sequentially, meaning that all VCAs are combined at the 4th output. Each output can be used independently or in any combination. The module includes a power ribbon cable and a set of mounting screws.

A: The Tilta 10" Lightweight Dovetail Plate (Black) will mount to the bottom of the Tilta 15mm LWS Baseplate for RED DSMC2 Cameras.

A: The Accsoon CineView Quad Multi-Spectrum Wireless Video Transmission System (B&H# ACCVQUAD) allows for inputting to either type of video interface (either HDMI or SDI) on the transmitter and then outputting to the same or the other type of video interface (either HDMI or SDI) from the receiver.

A: The Impact Muslin Background (Black, 10 x 12') would not be ideal for covering a window to block light. You would be much better using duvetyne like the TRP WORLDWIDE Duvetyne / Commando Cloth (8 x 8'), B&H # TRS8, MFR # S8.

A: It is pretty light, only 15 pounds.

Q: 10. Can I put it in the dryer?

A: Yes this can put in a dryer on a low setting.

[4x VCA] Great keyboard, works as intended - and a good amount of options under the hood. Will your keyboard be a bit messier looking? Sure..but a really cool way to customize exactly what you want your perfect 4-voice poly/paraphonic instrument to do. And yes you can go beyond 4 voices using its midi outputs. All in all a pretty cool way to incorporate a case and keyboard in one. 5

[Analog] These are my go-to pre-built XLR cables for outdoor use if I'm not making my own. Canare Star Quad is robust and rejects interference really well. Uses my favorite Neutrik connectors that have an interchangeable colored ring system that doesn't require any de-soldering to change the rings. Highly recommended. 5

[10 HP] I have been using this as a source for automated modulations and a sweeping sweet-spot finder in my patches, overall it frees up some sends for me and I find cool sounds faster 5

[4x VCA] Compared to Kopul cables, these Canare cables seem to be quieter when the subject is talking, compared to the Kopul brand, where they were more noisy. The price is still good, and they're easy to use on boompoles and for field recording. Seems canare is a standard in filmmaking for it's quality and durability for good reason. Also use them in my home studio and they excel there as well. If you care about audio (and you should if you're serious about other people listening to your creations), these are a great choice. 10/10 5
