[Glass] Tiffin makes very good filters and this inexpensive package provides front element protection (1A). In addition to basic sky and water glare removal the Polarizer can be used to eliminate most reflections when shooting through glass. 5

[Glass] I primarily use the UV filter to protect my lenses from scratches & chipping (especially when I drop themI guess I'm a little clumsy). The UV filter was flat & stable, and easily threaded onto the lens. The polarizing filters are great as well, providing a good range between polarized & non-polarized usage. With both, I was not able to detect any degradation of clarity. 5
