  • The transmitter's input accepts low-impedance microphone levels as well as high-impedance musical instrument or line levels. The gain ranges from -10 to +20 dB and can be adjusted in 2 dB increments.
  • The bright OLED screen presents comprehensive setup and operating information, including battery indicator, mute status, and operating frequency. Setup functions are menu-driven via soft-touch controls, which are covered to prevent accidental changes.
  • A tactile mute toggle switch (defeatable) provides physical confirmation of mute status when transmitter display is not visible.
  • The transmitter easily syncs to the receiver via infrared with a quick press on the Sync button.
  • Two RF power output settings are available: the low-level setting extends battery life while the high-level offers a stronger RF signal link.
  • In case of interference, the programmable multifunction button on the transmitter can be used to switch to a clean, backup frequency with minimal interruption.
  • The durable metal chassis is equipped with a field-replaceable whip antenna and a secure, locking battery compartment door.

  • The transmitter operates for up to 9 hours on two AA alkaline batteries and up to 9.5 hours on two rechargeable AA NiMH batteries.
  • Charging terminals on the base of the transmitter work with the optional ATW-CHG3 charging dock or ATW-CHG3N networked charging dock (both available separately) to recharge AA NiMH batteries while inside the transmitter.
  • To protect against misuse, the dock automatically shuts off if alkaline or damaged batteries are detected in the transmitter.
  • The ATW-CHG3N networked dock allows users to monitor the charging status of the transmitter.

Q: 1. Hi, I intended to get AS950-4P2 for our Church's Worship Team, and would like to know whether I could add on additional 2 receivers for the said transmitter, will there be any problem when we use 6 receivers with 1 transmitter simultaneously? Thanks, James

A: Yes you can add additional receivers.

Q: 2. Open Box Products Have a Limited 2-Year Warranty?

A: Yes the Zoom F3 has phantom power.

[Metal] These are excellent. I use them for wireless speaker transmission. The other reviewer should read the manual. These cover the ENTIRE available frequency bandwidth. There's also a spectrum analyzer so you can see where the congestion is. Turn off the limiter, set your settings to how your going to use them and you're ready to go. The sync function is easy to use and works great but you have to READ THE MANUAL. These are 50mw while most are 30mw so the extra power will give you better range and wall penetration which is great for wireless speaker usage. I've experienced zero issues and dropouts during my use.

When you get to a venue you'll do a scan from the RECEIVER. Then you sync the receiver to the transmitter base. You'll then see a graph showing you where the congestion is. Choose a frequency that's open (there are automatic ones available or you can find one manually) and set it. Then you sync the chose frequency back to the small receivers. It's that easy!

[Bodypack] Keeping it all contained with space for additional peripheral accessories. Not an anvil case but great for remotes not requiring shipping integrity and not warped like other poly cases I've ordered.

[Metal] Yes, the quality of this mic BLEW ME AWAY. It has so much more gain than the handheld I'd been using (at a house of worship). I was able to back off on gain AND get a much better, fuller sound than the other well known name brand mic I was using. Same guy, different mic, MUCH different result. Audio Technica has my dollar for wireless mics, hands down and mainly because every AT system I've used the past two decades has had fantastic sound, has been easy to use and LASTED. I've replaced very few transmitters or receivers. This system wasn't over the top expensive and I'm feeling very good about this purchase.

[Metal] At first, we had signal dropouts at only 30 feet range. Switching to HI Xmit power and trying different channels was the solution.

[Mute Switch] We have been using A-T wireless mics for decades. I just bought 2 units to replace the now-illegal units in the 600mHz range. We have never had any A-T system cause a problem. A big plus is that the priest can feel the switch to know when he's turning it on and off. B&H has been my go-to supplies for decades as well. They are all professional, friendly and helpful.

[25 kHz] A-T has changed the 3000 series to NOT use the same 4-pin locking plug. (It's got a new screw in, 4 pin). No adapter is available at this time. The 2000 series uses the same connector, so we don't have to throw away $1,000 of microphones.

The system is quiet and has louder output than the older 3000. We had to turn down about 60% with the plastic screwdriver inside battery case.

There is no "mute" and no battery level transmitted to receiver. There is only a (no popping) on/off switch. The battery case is the only weakness. The clip inside doesn't inspire confidence and we hope it holds up. Otherwise body pack is typically A-T tough.
