This V-mount Core SWX Helix Caddy for Teradek Bolt LT V-Mountfrom Core SWX Helix Caddy for Teradek Bolt LT V-Mountenables safely powering your Teradek Bolt LT transmitter from the same battery that you are using to power your high-voltage Digital-Cine camera. As the Bolt LT Transmitter has an input voltage range of 12 to 28 VDC, it becomes increasingly dangerous to power it from the same batteries that you use for cameras that can handle input voltage up to 33.4 VDC.

This caddy securely holds your transmitter via a 1/4"-20 screw, and has both a V-mount plate as well as a V-mount that allows you to mount a battery to the caddy and mount the caddy on your camera. The caddy also features a 2-pin LEMO connector that outputs 12 VDC, which is safe for your transmitter. Side openings provide full access to I/O ports as well as full view of the TX's LCD and buttons/switches.

[1.04 lb] I got my hands on the DJI transmitter and receiver and tested it for a few days. Really ran it's through it's paces and tried to lose signal. It performed very well. However, if I ever wanted to expand my wireless network by renting more receivers, I'd be screwed in my area cause no one has the DJI setup. Teradek's Bolt 6 has been a major upgrade from the previous generations of Teradeks I've used over the years and I really like their build quality. Very solid and the antenna protection is a very nice touch. As long as you aren't trying any funny business with the antenna and keep them propped vertical (unless you change to a few H antenna) it works really well. All in all, I DID obviously go with Teradek but they should be mindful as the DJI setup is great too. But I went with the Teradek because it's proven and expandable with rentals in my area. Picture uploaded is my transmitter on it's maiden voyage on a Sony FX3 build. 5

[1.04 lb] Given the limits on size and number of Li-Ion batteries you can travel with on a plane this is the charger I have been waiting for: in most use cases it allows you to charge batteries faster than you can discharge batteries - with a few catches. It can draw up to 8 amps so you need a decent circuit to plug into. Also it's not the most inexpensive charger in the Core lineup but I think it could pay for itself with this kind of performance. Recently had a day on Steadicam powering an Alexa 35 with a Teradek Bolt 6LT and Arri focus motor. We were able to rotate between just two 150wh batteries the whole day. It was great. One nit pick: the fuse holder on the back protrudes a bit and isn't the most sturdy. It just got catch on the foam in a case and broke a retaining clip. Easy fix and pretty simple to work around. As long as it holds up this is The One! 5
