Nanuk's PowerClaw latching system uses compressive force and triple action to keep the case securely closed until you are ready to open it.
Integrated slide locks have tough stainless steel hardware to prevent your case from opening even if it is dropped.
Integrated stays in the hinge keep the lid propped open when you're packing or unpacking the case.
The automatic relief valve equalizes differences in atmospheric pressure you may experience when changing altitude or location, preventing your case from sealing shut.
Reinforced metal padlock holes provide extra security.
An integrated bezel system accommodates custom panels without needing to drill holes in the case.
Ideal for photo gear, video gear, audio gear, medical equipment, industrial equipment, outdoor gear, personal effects, and more.
Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. B&H specs indicate an 18650 battery in the handle... is this correct?
A: The Ronin-S will use, and include, the BG37 Grip with a Built-In Battery. You will not be able to swap out 18650 batteries from this unit.
Q: 2. A few questions pertaining to the canon 80D:-With a standard 18-135 usm lens thats included with the canon 80D, will it be able to be balanced?-Will the Ronin S be able to connect to the Canon 80D and wirelessly start and stop video with the record button on the ronin s?-will half pressing the record button on the ronin S re-autofocus the Canon 80D?-will the focus wheel module built into the Ronin s be able to pull focus of the 18-135 USM lens connected to the 80D?
A: The 18-135mm is not on DJI's list of tested lenses. It may work, but they have not yet tested the lens on the Ronin-S. You will be able to start and stop recording through the Ronin-S, take photos and it will pull focus.
Q: 3. Can I control the focus on a Nikon D850?
A: According to DJI the pull focus feature will work with the D850 and compatible lenses, after a future firmware upgrade to the Ronin-S. That feature is not available currently, but will be in the future.
Q: 4. I will be using this with the canon 1DXMii.1. Will I be able to use all full functions with my camera like Timelapse?2. Which cable do I need to connect my camera to the Ronin-S?3. Do I need a specific quick release plate to mount my camera to gimbal? Which plate do you recommend what dimensions ?
A: From the manufacturer, Thank you for contacting DJI technical support.Upon checking Canon EOS-1D X Mark II is compatible with Ronin-S use the MCC Type B cable to make it work. You can also enjoy the pull focus feature by using the agreed and compatible lens that show on the picture below. All feature will work please use the link below to view manual on how to use the other featuresa href= https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/Ronin-S/Ronin-S%20User%20Manual_v1.0.pdfFinally. target= _blank https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/Ronin-S/Ronin-S%20User%20Manual_v1.0.pdfFinally./a The following Quick-Release plate would allow you to mount your camera to the gimbal. E-Image EH6P Quick Release Plate B&H # EIEH6P MFR # EH6P.From CanonThank you for contacting Canon regarding your customer's questions about using the EOS-1D X Mark II with the Ronin-S. I will be glad to assist. Here at Canon technical support, we don't have extensive details about how our equipment will work with accessories we don't make. Nor can I claim to be an expert on how the DJI Ronin-S works. That said, I will answer based on the specs I've seen for that device. As far as I can tell, the gimbal does not seem to override the camera's menu options or other features, so someone should still be able to do a timelapse by connecting the optional TC-80N3 to the camera's N3 port on the side. While some of our cameras have built-in time-lapse capabilities, the EOS-1D X Mark II does not. That said, I wouldn't recommend doing a time lapse on a gimbal, since gimbals are designed to allow for fluid motion, while time-lapses work best when the camera is locked down on a sturdy mount. The specs on the Ronin-S indicate that it has mounting that allows a 1 x 1/4 -20 Female Thread, which is what the camera uses. As far as I can tell, you shouldn't need other cables to connect the camera, but you may wish to check with DJI to see if they have additional recommendations. Let us know if we can be of further assistance.Thank you for contacting Canon, and I hope you have a good day. Sincerely,NickTechnical Support Representative
Q: 5. I see there is a remote follow focus module, but I can't tell if the motor is visible in the pictures. Is it the Y post that is attached to the base, or is that just to secure the lens?
A: The part connected to the lenses in these photos is the Lens Support. It is not the Follow Focus Module. We do not have the full details on all the accessories for this product yet, please keep an eye on this page though. As we get more information this page will be updated.
Q: 6. Has anyone heard anything on battery life!?
A: I have had the privilege to use multiple beta Ronin-S units and I got anywhere from 8-10 hours depending on the payload. Final specs will be released shortly.
Q: 7. Will this work with Fujifilm XE3?
A: With gimbals, there are two compatibility questions: 1. Will the gimbal handle the weight of the camera. The answer is yes on the X-E3. 2. Will the camera connect electronically. The answer is the X-E3 is not on the DJI compatibility list. That means no remote control.
Q: 8. I noticed that my Panasonic lumix G7 wasnt on the list. So does that mean I wont be able to use all the in app features with the motion time lapse, record, etc? Will DJI be putting out firmware to work with more cameras?
A: Correct. We are currently working on expanding our compatibility list and more cameras will be added via firmware updates and cables in the near future.
Q: 9. Is it compatible with canon 7D mark ii using rokinon lens and would I have to purchase the dji focus motor?
A: Most Rokinon lenses when used with the 7D Mark II will keep the load below this gimbal's 8 pound capacity. You should be able to balance the 7D Mark II and Rokinon lenses on this gimbal. Rokinon lenses tend to be completely manual for focus though, you will need to use the Focus Motor and Focus Wheel to pull focus with Rokinon Lenses. Q: 10. What is the distance the Mobile App (IOS) will work. I say documentation that said only 10M using bluetooth. This is very limited distance, does anyone know for sure if it is only 10M?
A: When controlled via the Ronin mobile app, the range is around 10 meters according to DJI.
