This product is for the Scrim Jim Cine (new version) so please check your Scrim Jim version to determine if the sizing is the same. A: No. Make sure you purchase the 42x72 inch silks for the original scrim jim frames. I made the mistake of ordering the 4x6 cine silk and it was to big.

A: The fabric would be best used with the frame as it has Velcro along the edges keeping it stretched flat to its appropriate size. I would be careful to not damage the fabric when hanging it in another way but you can certainly use it however you would like.
