The space gray Talon XL Top Handle with Trigger REC for Select Cameras from Kondor Blue is ideal for performing low-angle shots with any of the wide range of cameras compatible with it, and it also provides a start/stop REC trigger when paired with an optional cable that will work for your specific camera. Two NATO rails and two cold shoe slots, along with three 3/8"-16 ARRI-type threads, provide multiple mounting options for your accessories. The unit also boasts a molded rubber grip that is perfectly contoured to fit your hand, as well as an integrated bubble level.

[2x NATO Rail] Very well made. Sturdy with a secure grip. I bought the canon camera cable but my R series canon mirrorless uses a direct cable. I found on smallrig website a bluetooth trigger at can attach to A cold shoe. Works fine. I would buy this again if I need a second rig. 5

[0.625 lb] This handle feels good in my hands. The rubber underside assures comfort and I really like the gap in the front that allows for a better grip. I have two minor gripes though... 1. The handle doesn't come with the cable needed and there aren't many options except for the KB brans which is about $30. Plan to spend about 130 + tax. 2. The record button make a significant audible sound when you push it. It is not extremely loud, but enough that it is noticeable for anyone nearby. I usually shoot hand held from the hip and I do not like for the subject to hear or see that the camera is recording so it's a little annoying, but not a deal breaker. This handle is very well built and looks great too. 5

[2x NATO Rail] I ordered the handle from here and Adorama and the description says cables are included which they are not. So if you order be aware that you have to order the cable for your camera. Kondor Blue came through and sent me the cable that I needed since the ads says it comes with 2 cables when it doesn't. Kondor Blue's customer service was great 5

[2x NATO Rail] I really like this handle. It has excellent build quality. There are a number of mounting points on the handle - I would rarely use them, but if I ever need them, having them is a plus. The rubber grip portion has a soft texture, but it is still a solid, firm grip. I have medium-sized hands, and this handle is perfect for my hand size as well as how I like to hold the handle. If you want to hold your camera rig handle like a medieval claymore, this may not be the handle for you. If you hold camera rig handles like I do - with my thumb on the backside, over the enamel Kondor badge in this case - you might find it quite comfortable. The record button works well, though the button is quite loud when pressed. I bought the appropriate cable to use this with my R5C setup and it works perfectly. 5

[0.625 lb] Kondor Blue is the brand I prefer for all my camera rigging. They are well built, durable, and stay super secure in rugged environments. I primarily do sports video work and so these things need to keep my stuff in place at all times. I haven’t got time to fiddle diddle with attachments. 5
