The AIDA Imaging HD-NDI-Cube POV Cameras vMix HD Bundlefrom AIDA Imaging HD-NDI-Cube POV Cameras vMix HD Bundlebrings simultaneous IP and NDI output into an ultracompact form for POV streaming applications in broadcast, education, medical, live production, and other fields. The compact camera outputs variable-frame rate IP streaming via RTSP/RTMP and/or NDI|HX with up to 1080p60 resolution.

An RJ45 port carries both RTSP/RTMP streaming and NDI|HX over a single Ethernet cable, and it supports the VISCA-over-IP control protocol. The camera can be powered using the included power adapter or by using the included PoE dongle on a PoE-supported network. It features a C/CS lens mount and comes with a 4mm HD lens pre-installed. NDI|HX is a bidirectional standard that allows video systems to identify and communicate with one another over IP, and to encode, transmit, and receive multiple streams of broadcast-quality, low latency, frame-accurate video and multichannel audio in real time.

Q: 1. The instructions seem to indicate the web interface requires Adobe Flash to preview the image from the camera. Flash has been discontinued and is no longer available as of the beginning of 2021. Is there an update that removes this dependency on Flash and fixes this issue?

A: This camera has no weather or dust sealing. It will need a housing to protect it from the elements.

A: No this camera do not have zoom capabilities.

Q: 4. What lens mount does this camera have?

A: Actually its just a CS mount, but you are able to purchase a C type ring adapter for C mount lenses. The camera comes with a 3.2mm 12MP CS mount lens.

Q: 5. How close to an object can this camera be for the object to be in focus?

A: You will need to check your lens' minimum focus distance.

Q: 6. Does this camera provide a sound feed?

A: The following unit is a pov cam that offers no on board sound.

Q: 7. Are the line and mic inputs on the side functional? Seems like the spec sheet only lists the I/O cable for audio in.

A: The breakout cable includes a 3.5mm Audio input that can be configured as either a Mic level or Line level input via the camera's menu.

Q: 8. can this be powered via POE?

A: Yes, POE is supported.

Q: 9. Is the camera weather/dust sealed? Our application with be in a factory where manufacturing dust is a given.

A: No it is not Weather or Dust sealed. you will need a protective housing if you plan to mount this in a dusty environment.

Q: 10. Does this camera have an RTSP stream?

A: The AIDA Imaging Compact Full HD NDI HX/IP Streaming POV Camera only streams with NDI|HX2.

[1.435 lb] I'm using this camera as a virtual window in conjunction with an HD TV. It is exceptional. The menu controls are extremely useful in low light settings. Accurate color with standard white point settings. 5

[1.435 lb] We decided to take a chance on these and have found they work flawlessly in a modern IP driven studio. These run perfectly on POE (just one cable for everything) and VMix picks them up instantly. Quality of the image is excellent, low light is good, zoom is very good, autofocus is good (great when you've got your lighting right). We're looking at how to use NDI Bridge to put these in venues around town to bring live shows to the station. Still working out the kinks on that, but, if it works, we'll be order half a dozen or more of these things to spread all over the city. 5
