Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the strap attach to the camera tripod mount OR the tripod mount on the lens?

A: The BlackRapid Sport X Camera Sling Strap (Multi-Terrain Camo) can be attached to either the lens collar or the Camera's tripod mount. If the lens is a long lens it is best to attach the strap to the lens not the camera.

Q: 2. Can this hold a Fujifilm X-T2 and a Fujinon XF70-300mm lens?

A: The case is only 3 inches deep so the camera will only fit on its side but will work.

Q: 3. Can I fit an OConnor 1030DS/30L tripod package in here?

A: Yes, the tripod will fit but you will need to take off the Pan Handle from the head.

Q: 4. Does the FastenR is included with the Sling Strap?

A: Yes, the FR-5 is included with the Sport X sling

Q: 5. Will the camouflage fade and turn to easily visible colors over time? Two other name brand cameras I've owned have done so.

A: I found no documentation about camouflage fade and turn to easily visible colors over time

Q: 6. How large of a lens camera combo can the strap handle? Shooting a Nikon Z9 with the 400mm f/2.8 prime lens.

A: No. Your lens and combo is not a good fit for any blackrapid straps. We highly suggest transporting the lens with the strap provided as the lens offers integrated lens strap support.

Q: 7. Does the camera take both still photos & videos at the same time, or is it one or the other?

A: It is one or the other. However if you are shooting video you can get a low resolution still image from the video.

Q: 8. How exact are the interior measurements on this? I have a tripod that is almost exactly 35". Is there any room to play or will it be too snug to be comfortable so I should go a size up?

A: I would recommend a larger size bag--it's always better for a bag to be a little too big, then a little too small. This would be a better size: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/587404-REG/Porta_Brace_TLQ_39XT_TLQ_39XT_Quick_Tripod_Light.html

Q: 9. How does this harness adjust to a single camera ?

A: This Blackrapid Double Camera Harness works best when holding two camera, but it could hold a single camera that's using a BlackRapid FR-5 FastenR Breathe, BH # BL363001. https://bhpho.to/3ByrEwY

Q: 10. Is the QR compatible with the QR of the Leofoto plate? (SF-01)

A: There is no QR on the BlackRapid Sport X QD Camera Sling (Multi-Terrain Camo); however, the QD swivel on the this camera sling is compatible with the QD socket on the Leofoto SF-01 Replacement Lens Foot.

[Yes] I was looking for less bulky way to carry a set of 52mm filters in my compact camera case and this has worked perfectly. I'm able to slip in two filters and then clip it to shoulder strap anchor point on my case. Bought one and liked enough that I bought a second in a different color. It is a tight fit. You could probably get a 58mm filter into it (as it's labeled by LensCoat) but don't expect to get anything larger in it. Perfect for my needs.

[20 x 15 x 2"] I actually needed to carry a 77mm polarizer and a 72mm polarizar in either of two bags. With this combination, the 72mm may be tricky to get over the rim of the 77mm not a show stopper. I went to a local name professional photography retailer and was told We don't have any filter cases. Nobody carries filters anyway these days because you can do so much in photoshop! As far as I'm concerned duplicating a polarizer in PS is not one or if so, I'd certainly like to not waste that much time.

[1.61 lb] Allows me to keep my polarizing and neutral density filters immediately available, easily accessible and out of the way at the same time. Protects and keeps the filters cleaner than their original cases.

[Yes] I usually only need 2 filters (one on lens and one in a case) and this is the smallest I could find, perfect for carrying filters while I'm out, I use a bigger case for my home storage. Putting two 58mm filters in is pretty tight but doable. Easier to put two smaller size filters in. I've also been able to fit a Hasselblad B50-to-58mm adapter with a filter attached into the slot, but again, its snug.

[20 x 15 x 2"] I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I wanted at backpack that I could transport a tripod and a small amount of gear when taking a short hike. This fits the bill. I wish it had a slightly larger gear capacity, but it works for what it is.

[Yes] Well made, compact and has a hook to clip on backpack. Useful for storing spare filters and travelling.

[20 x 15 x 2"] I bought several of this kind tripod backpacks ever since I discovered them. So far they are the best way to carry my big tripods to day hikes. You could even leave the camera on the tripod when you walk, just remember to lock the head so the camera won't swing around behind your head.
