[5x] The flashlight is extremely useful. I removed the 9x magnifying lense and placed it in front of a webcam lense to get video capture images on my computer for greatly magnified look at Printed circuit board solder joints. I will try to flow solder with this setup. Well worth the price. 5

[5x] Purchased this with a more expensive microscope. The Idea was for my young boys to play with this inexpensive one and take good care of the costly one. They love to play with it, looking at common household items under magnificiation is very fun for them. I admit that I have also played with this microscope. I recommend it. 5

[0.45 lb] My kids have been using this non-stop to examine every object they can find under the microscope, from plant leaves to carpet fibers. They also love looking for birds and at cars in the distance with the telescope and are sure to use the flashlight and compass when we go camping. It was a great gift at a great price. 5

[5x] Purchased to give as a gift to youngsters in my church.They loved it and I had a good time showing them how to use it. We looked at the moon and marsusing the telescope. They also looked at the fabricof their jackets using the microscope.I might be tempted to get one for myself to take on hikes or bike trips. It is so inexpensivethat if it gets lost or broken or stolen, I wontshed any tears over it. But it sure beats usingthe un-aided eye. The built-in flash light andcompass can also come in handy at times. 5

[5x] My girlfriend had some bugs for me to look at, first I got a little 5X magnifier with a light.Not strong enough.Then I tried a 60-100X hand held microscope. It was too much magnification and nearly impossible to focus. This viewer is perfect for the job and has so many other neat features, I got a second one to carry in my car. This would make a great stocking stuffer too. 5

[0.45 lb] He loved it, used it to examine pine cones and bird feather a few minutes after learning how to turn on the light for the microscope. Great size for kid hands. Eye piece diameter could be larger but I where glasses, so that may be my problem. I wouldn't need them when focusing anyway. 5

[0.45 lb] I got two of these for my 5- and 2- year olds. They wanted a multi tool and I was trying to find something similar that would. It involve knives. Despite being under the recommended age range, they love their C-Scopes. The two-year-old enjoys blowing the whistle unexpectedly and vigorously extending the telescope. The 5-year-old likes the magnifying glass and flashlight. All in all, it is an enjoyable addition to our outdoor hikes and rambles. 5
