[32] Using this with the 105mm macro lens. Find it easy to use and get good even lighting. I like the ability to adjust the two different lights individually.

[5900K] Recently bought this one n a Black Friday sale. It’s been on my wishlist for awhile. The appeal to me is the rechargeable battery.. it’s easy to use and configure for a newbie, like me, to macro photography

[5900K] Works great for my macro shots. Has more than enough power shooting at iso100 f/22 at the minimal focus distance.

[Modeling Light] Got this ring to pair with my Nikon AF-S DX Micro NIKKOR 85mm f/3.5G ED VR lens. It performs perfectly and has more power than I suspect I will ever need. I am able to sync up to 1/250th on my D7500 camera and it fires correctly in all shutter modes. The LCD display/interface is clear and easy to operate. The attached photo was shot at f/22 1/250th ISO 100 with the flash powered at 1/4 power.

[Modeling Light] I really like this ring flash. It's better built and more powerful than a much less expensive version I purchased a couple of years back from another manufacturer. In fact, at time a bit too powerful in that even at 1/128th power I have more light than I need when I try to balance fill flash with ambient light. It appears to sync at 1/160th and below on my Canon. I believe I begin getting horizontal lines at 1/200th and above (and there's no high speed sync function). I like the ability to control the focus assist light in 10 steps. When the flash is too powerful for my ambient light effort, I dial up the focus-assist lamp and often have all the power I need. Like all Godox equipment, it's well built and well priced. Happy.

[5900K] Nice, straight forward operation. Not overly laden with esoteric controls that would be used by few and then not much. Nice build, better than my other ring light. I've started reshooting some things I did decades ago with a set of close-up filters. More control, more this/more that, just better. I use it on my 105mm Nikkor Z Macro lens.

[5900K] Unit works as advertised. It's easy to setup, has a bit of a learning curve, but once you figure out how to balance the power of the light to your subject it works very well.

[Modeling Light] I've gone through just about every flash setup out there for macro photography. For outdoor walkaround macro, this flash is the best in my opinion. Once I found it, I stopped experimenting with other setups.

[5900K] Was looking for a replacement for the Metz Mecablitz ring light that was discontinued. This macro ring flash from Godox actually far exceeds the Mecablitz. It's the perfect ring flash if you are looking for a new, inexpensive unit. Can't recommend enough!
